Planet Mercury
Posted Image

Class B, Hotzone

Planet Facts:
Mercury is the innermost and smallest planet in the Solar System, orbiting the Sun once every 88 days. The orbit of Mercury has the highest eccentricity of all the Solar System planets, and it has the smallest axial tilt. It completes three rotations about the axis for every two orbits.
Still far too uninhabitable by man, the planet is host to an orbiting extraterrestrial space station of unknown origin known only as the Monolith. No one knows the origins or race governing this artificial body orbiting Mercury, though it is obviously from a civilization hardy enough to survive so close to the Sun.
