Please read up on canon, especially if you're applying for anything other than a human.
I'm going to list a few of the givens of all here, as well as whether they're closed to new applications right now.
Angels- Angels always have wings. Whether they hide them or not is the only variable. Wings range in color, but are most often white, grey, or shades of gold or silver. They have been known to take other shades, but there's usually a traumatic event that changes them to this shade. Red/crimson wings are a prime example. Wings are only stained this color by blood. Mortal, angel, demon... doesn't matter. Just so long as they've been covered in blood they'll take on the red color. Black wings are a characteristic gotten only two ways. An angel who's wings are damaged, 'killed' in essence, before healing and becoming functional again will turn black. Fallen angels almost always have black wings, though some are red, stained from their own blood.
- First generation angels were created, not born. Later generations were born, usually between two angels, though some mortals have been granted the status of angel after dying. These angels will never be considered for a position higher than that of a regular angel. There are only seven archs, and they have been the same since the beginning of time.
- Angels powers vary, though all have control over one or more element. There are several rankings of angel. They are as follows: Arch, Arc, Seraphim, Guardian, Death, and Angels. There are special ranks besides these, but only one can hold the title at a time. The Metatron and the Morningstar are two such titles. The second has not been continued past its first use, with Lucifer, as no one wants to follow in his footsteps.
- Archs are the original angels and are more powerful than any others. There are only seven of them now, though there were originally 10 [The Morningstar, the Metatron, and the General of Heaven were all considered archs at one time. Lucifer and Sammael are the first and last, respectively.]
- Arcs are the next down. Their power is equivalent to that of Michael or Gabriel. They can control all elements, but tend to favor one. They are the warriors of Heaven.
- Seraphim are the next down, and they are the ones in charge of the different realms in heaven. They oversee the mortals who have been admitted there, and assist in guiding new arrivals to their respective spheres. Their powers are usually healing based, though they still have control of one element.
- Guardian Angels are those that watch over people on earth. Not everyone has a guardian assigned just to them, though there are mortals who are granted one specifically for them, usually because a Divine Being or higher angel favors them. They are fighters, and can manipulate the environment around their charges as needed to protect them. They have control of ONE element.
- Angels of Death are those sent to carry out the will of the Divine Beings. They are usually sent to punish mortals for disobeying some command or another, though they also help keep things under control on earth when things start to go sour.
- Angels are the typical hosts of heaven, and carry out various tasks that none of the others will. They are the lowest in ranking, and most were once mortals who've been granted the 'honor' of serving their Divine Being of their choice.
- Angels cannot pass onto the human realm without some sort of portal to allow them access. They have to take on a mortal form to be able to do so, and most are loathe to give up the majority of their powers.

Demons- Demons have any number of appearances. No two are really the same, as personality and power determine their looks. Horns of some sort, cloven hooves, wings [insectoid, bat, or dragon in appearance], and oddly glowing eyes are but a few of the possibilities. Some don't even look humanoid. Skin can be scales, bumpy, human, or anything really you can imagine. The more powerful the demon, the less human it's form, usually, though this doesn't always hold true. [SPARDA is a prime example]
- Fallen Angels are considered demons now, though most of their abilities and powers are still closer to that of angels than demons. The more corrupted they become, the more likely it is that they will take on a second more demonic form in addition to their angelic one. The more powerful the fallen angel, the more vicious they are once corrupted. Sammael is the ultimate fallen angel, and really none of his original angelic form is left. [If creating him for play, please PM Immortal Beloved so we can work out details!
- Devil Kings were just thrust into existence and no one really knows where they came from. Aside from Sammael, who rules over all of them, and Lucifer, who keeps them in line and IN Hell rather than rampaging on Earth, they answer to NO ONE.
- Demon/Devil rankings depend on their circle of Hell, not their type. You can get a sex demon from the first circle and find one clear in the ninth as well. Same goes with soul brokers and the demonic dragons. There are nine circles, and the higher the number, the more power they have.
- First Circle Demons are barely better than the damned souls that are trapped in Hell. They are the grunts, the soldiers sent into battle most often, and are usually the ones found possessing someone on earth.
- Second Circle Demons are equivalent to those Constantine runs across on a regular basis in the comics. They have some small amount of mind control, can easily possess a body, human or otherwise, regardless of there being a soul there. They are usually the lackies sent to earth to carry out the Demon or Devil kings orders.
- Third Circle Demons start to lose their humanoid looks, and are more likely to have reptilian or other animal features. Most have cloven hooves. All have horns of one sort or another. Their powers are able to rival that of even a powerful sorcerer in the human realm, and they specialize in black magics.
- Fourth Circle Demons have more animal characteristics than those of lesser circles. They have eyes that are anything but human, and their power levels are such that they have nothing to fear from most mortals, should they ever manage to get onto the earthly realm. They can sometimes shapeshift.
- Fifth Circle Demons are where many mythological creatures from all around the world can be found. They may guard or live on other circles, but they originate from this one. They have enough power to take on even an Angel of Death and possibly walk away the victor, though an arc could easily take them on. They have control of elements and elementals, and aren't afraid to use them. Most of the demonic dragons are at this level, though as they age their power levels increase.
- Sixth Circle Demons are the ones that mortals love to depict and tell horror stories about. The owl devils, the monkey devils, and the swamp creatures are oft times a devil who's managed to claw their way into the human realm. Powers are enough to wipe out an entire earthly city, if given the chance.
- Seventh Circle Demons are those who could be considered generals of Hell. They are those who were the commanders in the wars against heaven, though they are far from the most powerful. Most of the 'boss' demons that Dante faced or that John sent packing straight back to hell are from this level, and both Dante and John are hated with a passion here.
- Eighth Circle Demons are the Demon Kings who answer only to the Devil Kings. They are the ultimate weapons against heaven, and any one of them could take on an arch and possibly walk away, though not unscathed. Not all are evil, as is evidenced by Sparda, who is a demon at this power level. There are not many at this level, though it is possible to gain it through hard work and lust for power.
- Ninth Circle Demons are the Devil Kings. No others have reached this power. Ba'al, Asmodeous, Mammon, and Belial are a few examples of the Devil Kings. Mundas was at this level, though he was beaten by Dante, and fell from power.
- As with angels, demons cannot pass onto the human realm without help. They must possess a mortal, or give up the bulk of their powers to cross without a portal. Once a portal is open, the lesser levels may pass through, and the stronger the portal is, the more powerful the demons who can get through.
- Devils and Demons vary only slightly. Demons are more physical based in nature, while devils are more magic in nature. Devils start in power at the fifth circle, and are not seen before that. Ninth Circle has devils only: the Devil Kings. They are the ONLY devils who have equal magic and physical attacks and defense. Choose wisely when creating one.

Vampires- Eyes range depending on what they were in life. They'll retain that shade, only more vivid. When hungry, or having just fed, their eyes go blood red. Hungry vampires' eyes will not fade until they've fed. Likewise, a vampire who's fed must wait an hour to a day depending on the amount of blood they've consumed. A newborn ALWAYS has red eyes, but these fade after the first month.
- Vampire skin is pale, with only some semblance of it's former color. It burns easily in sunlight, but only intense sun can kill a vampire. The older the vampire the less the sun affects them. A vampire over 1000 can easily brave all but the most sunny of days without discomfort.
- Vampires teeth range. Some have fangs, some have double fangs, some just have razor sharp teeth. All are deadly. The only thing that determines the type of teeth is the vampire's 'bloodline'. Each strain of vampires were created by a different zero generation vampire, and get their traits from that vampire.
- Vampires do need to exchange blood to turn someone else; a simple bite will not change a human, though it can make them very ill. It takes at least three times of blood exchange for the change to be permanent. Once that third exchange occurs, they will turn, even if the vampire(s) in question never return, the human will change.
- Please, please, PLEASE do NOT copy any other canons for your vampires. No Underworld, Anne Rice, PN Elrod, Fred Saberhagen, or any of that. If your character feels too much like a character from that--esp. main characters, you will be asked to fix them. It's another story, though, if you want to bring in a CANON from one. Talk to Immortal Beloved about it and we'll see what we can do.
- Vampires feed on humans. Period. Though they can exist on animal blood, it is unhealthy for them and they will eventually be driven to feed on humans or waste away. Strong willed vampires can feed on humans without killing them.
- Vampiric powers are based upon their original sire, the head of their line. These powers can include control over animals, shapeshifting, control of lesser demons or elementals, bloodcontrol, weather manipulation, hypnotism, wings, etc.

Werewolves- Werewolves may travel separately, but most of them travel in packs like real wolves. They can and often will disobey their alpha if they feel the orders are contrary to their wishes or put them in harm. Like a real wolf pack, the alpha can and will punish those who disobey though. Ranks are very similar. Alpha, beta, omega, etc.
- Werewolves have fur similar in color to their human form, usually, but can have drastically different ones. Again, as with vampires, bloodline helps determine this. Wolves fur ranges from pitch black to white and every shade of brown, grey, red, and the like inbetween. Werewolves eyes are more human in expression than a regular wolves, but they are NOT oddly colored. They range in color from deep brown to a vivid orange or gold and every shade in between. Rarely, you'll find a wolf with a more reddish or blue eyes.
- Werewolves can be of two types: those that are forced to shift at the full moon, and those that may shift at any time. The former have less control over their animal forms, while the latter have a great deal of control. Though both call themselves werewolves, the latter are actually more of shifters than anything.
- Werewolves can be male or female, though most do tend to be male. Occasionally a female will turn up, but most are skittish and hide. Male wolves are larger, stronger, and are always, always, ALWAYS the alpha if there is a pack. Females are not able to lead, as not even other females will follow them. [rarely a pack of pure females has been seen, but there's only two records of this ever happening]

Halfbreeds- Halfbreeds take on characteristics of both sides of their parents. Half breeds may be human-angel, human-demon, human-devil, human-vampire, or angel-demon. Nothing else is possible with the canon of this world, sorry.
- Halfbreed vampires have things like sun sickness or bloodlust to an extreme, as well as some physical problems such as heart or lung conditions. Their powers include some mind control, control over animals, ability to blend in with humans, etc.
- Half demons or devils will have some of their immortal parent's characteristics, and may even have a demon form, but they may have issues as well such as battle rage, inability to control their other form, or oddly colored skin, hair, eyes. They may even have a slightly alien/animal appearance. Other weaknesses include mental issues, ranging from minor learning disabilities to full blown things like paranoid delusions.
- Half angels are prone to having wings, though these wings tend to take on shades more of earthly birds [browns, greys, etc] than their angelic parents. White wings are common as well, and some are cursed with a single wing, rather than two fully functioning ones. They will tend to have brighter colored eyes, and have access to some of their angelic parent's powers. Weaknesses include being unable to hide their wing(s) to bone density that is far below what it should be, causing bones to be more brittle.
- If you wish to create a halfbreed, contact Immortal Beloved through PMs FIRST so we can work out the details of their form and abilities.
