Major General Arthur Haig's message to the soldiers "Men the enemy may have more fighters than us but we have the stronger will, the prize is strong for taking this land. Do your duty in the fact that you may see California reunited, but we must become stronger than our enemies so we must take ground men and resources. So to battle and bring home the spoils of war." Orders to the men, The Bombers are to fly low to the ground to avoid detection on the Arizona radar, they are to obliterate the airstrips and hangars of the active fighters. Meanwhile the fighters are to fly high up and when the Arizona fighters scramble to attack the incoming planes Californian fighters will descend and using heat seeking lock on missiles try to bring the numbers down to more equal terms due to the surprise. While this is happening the 1st Californisan corps is to engage the 1st Arizona corps and obliterate them due to our huge strength in tanks artillery and men. This corps is to be supported by 2 thirds of the attack helicopters so 40 are to provide support for the 1st corps to take out any hard points they may incounter. All anti aircarft weapons systems of the 1st corps that are on tanks or jeeps or standalone systems are to be on full alert for enemy war planes. Meanwhile the Marines are to mount up in jeeps and armoured cars and blitz their way to the main air force bases and take over the facilities, while the enemy are occupied in the sky taking their airfields shouldn't be to hard. The Transport helicopters are to carry a first wave of Marines so that they are there a lot quicker. Then the reinforcements will arrive to bolster the defences and asses the situation. Hopefully the speed and ferocity of our assault will rue the day, good luck men. |

The fighters of the pirates are to join with the attack on the Arizonan fighters, while the helicopters and bombers support the destruction of the Arizonan 1st army. Also my new fighters are to join the fray, 40 new. Only active fighters are to be destroyed te ground assault is to capture the planes for our own use Edited by Philsthemanalhack, Jan 4 2009, 11:54 AM.

The Southern Californian's attempt to blitzkrieg their way to Arizona's air fields is a failure, as partisan's cut the army's fragile supply lines and Arizona's iron hold on the major roadways halt the Californian's progress. Arizona will not retreat from Phoenix and surrounding areas, and if possible will fight to the end. The Californian Air's attempt to bombard the Arizona forces is futile, as the heavy fighter screen and battle between fighters is too dangerous for even one raid. The Arizona Air Force is completely taken off guard by the huge increase in opposing fighters and a large, devastating battle between all three sides starts. Beginning casualties are heavy and as the battle on the air and ground continues, Arizona prepares to sabotage any and all planes that could be of use once the invasion is over with.

5000 men of the 1st army are to go behind and take out the Partisans while the rest continues its push on the 1st Arizona corps. The Marines are to make a steady advance towards the air bases. They will be supplied on their advance by usuall trucks but also the transport planes. The combined fiters of Southern California and the Pirates are to create a screen and with their larger numbers are attempt to destroy the enemy fighters. Once again behind this screen the Bombers are to destroy the active fighters 500 of the best Marines are to mount up in the Transport helicopters and flying low to avoid fghters and radar attempt to take David-Monthan Air force base, They will be supported by 20 Attack helicopters to take out hard points. Once the airbase is captured they are to dig in andawait support Edited by Philsthemanalhack, Jan 5 2009, 01:55 PM.

(I'm sorry, but are you noticing some 16,000 men in the area or are you just being coincidentally ignorant? )

The break off part of the 1st Infantry Corps obliterates the Arizona partisans and fuses back with the bulk of the force to help in the assault on Arizona forces in the Phoenix. The bulk of the 1st Infantry Corps attacks the Arizona forces in Phoenix and a huge battle takes place. The Marines plan works and they overrun the David-Monthan Air Base and capture 3 bombers and 13 fighters. The rest are destroyed as workers at the base sabotage and destroy the rest. The air battle stops as the last major airbase the Arizona fighters had is lost. They either run suicide attacks in a last ditch effort to stop the Californians or run themselves into the ground.

The 1st army corps and Marine corps are to suround Phoenix and use the tank and artillery to bombard positions that are found by the attack helicopters which will prowl above. The bombers will also take out strategic positions mainly the enemy tanks and artillery. Civilians will be avoided at all costs to avoid a Humanitarian disaster. Before this occurs though. The transport helicopters will drop leaflets with this message. "what are you doing our fellow countrymen. Why resist your bretherin. We will not treat you harshly and you will be accepted as full citizens. Those that surrender now will be welcomed but we warn you those who stay and fight will spend a life time in prison" If the message fails to get them to surrender then the above attacks will take place |

The Arizona forces do not send a reply and the attack goes as planned. The Californian's choice to be careful in their attack allows the Arizonans a certain advantage in fighting and they use that advantage to its fullest. They inflict heavy casualties on the Californian's and though they fight to the death, 500 are still captured. The government in Arizona is toppled, and Southern California is left to pick up the pieces. |
