The dark slum room was cold and windy as a strong gust blew through the draftee room, with no furniture but a simple mattress and a barrel with a fire raging in it for heat. The hairs on the back of Jadens neck stood on end as the cold wind overcame the warmth of the flames he was sitting close beside. The wind whistled and whipped all around the room and stopped as quickly it came, everything was so depressing and glum in the slums. Even with everyone hiding from that one small building from what its new occupant had done they couldn’t fathom going near the psycho not now not ever. The light sabre he had was too useful even with his lack of skill to anyone without a blaster which no one had in the area. The metal of the sabre was cold yet comforting to Jaden as it hung clipped to the side of his belt, it was so powerful in his hands yet it could be more powerful if trained and organised just like his father…no more so it could be stronger than that weakling that was cut down so easily. |

Jaden grimaced as the woman pushed him back with that peculiar lightsaber she had only just activated. He struggled to match the power the woman was using to forcefully push the lightsaber forward. "Let the games begin!" Jaden spat out those words and looked upwards as the woman brought her saber high. He tried to step to the side to avoid some of the power of the stroke and slashed upwards with his lightsaber to meet the woman's weapon, trying to use his current position to get under her guard and to lessen some of the advantage she currently held in the fight. Even though he was being hunted in a game of cat and mouse, the power and adrenaline fueled himself, and the rage that had been capped off erupted for no apparent reason. These emotions gave Jaden power, more than enough to keep his own in such a fight. Edited by Firelizard, Dec 17 2008, 01:59 PM.

The sabres connected again with a loud crackle of power, Jaden was able to move just in time to connect with the woman’s weapon from his new position he was under her defence, but the strength in her single hand compared to his two as unusually keeping him forced down. The light and sound seemed to echo and fill the hallway more and more as the sparks flew off the energy blades in a dance of anger and blood thirst. Unable to do anything the woman brought her blade up again and took a small hope back giving her sabre a spin of joy awaiting a new attack. In all the light she was more extremely visible and to anyone extremely beautiful, her skin, her figure, her curves, her chest, all of her was gorgeous to say the least no matter what race she was beautiful. Her clothes were elegant as well, simple travelling clothes of high quality and a dark red cape that seemed to be brand new and again of high quality. It was her sabre that was quite interesting as it was sleek and smooth with a slightly curved grip showing its customisation and advanced level compared to Jadens. The blade itself even looked longer by an inch or two in comparison also. Everything about this woman all summed up spelt trouble personified and not someone to clash with. |

( )Jaden frowned and then did what so many self help specialist did, turned it upside down. He took a moment to look at the woman's body and as always, he was awed and slightly attracted. Her curves and figure alone would have attracted any species in the galaxy, much less a teenager human. Her energy and power combined with her obvious good looks would have been a perfect match for Jaden if he wasn't locked in combat for his life. Her clothes and obviously expensive attire along with her lightsaber also spoke of wealth and more than physical power and beauty. Jaden pushed forward with his lightsaber and tried to slam and slash at the woman's chest and hilt of the lightsaber. Doing either one of two things that would please Jaden, cutting off her hand and disabling her or opening her up like a cut up pig, organs and other vital systems showing themselves along with other things that could only make Jaden giggle in his sub-conscious mind. |

Now it was time to push this child to his limit, to push him to his mental and physical threshold to see if he was capable, though maybe he was just as weak as his father and was worthless. In an instant her cheerful expression faded to a durasteel glazed expression of concentration and analysis, He spinning of her sabre stopped as she flicked it into the air slightly as she threw her right leg backwards so to be side on to Jaden. The sabre was in the air for a mere second as Jadens own sabre blade passed by the hilt and ever so closely towards the woman’s unflinching side. It had taken great skill to flick her blade over his and for the red hued blades not to collide and end her life so foolishly, Jadens blade was a mere several inches from the woman’s slender figure as the heat from his blade started to warm her clothes as it gained closer. Now though showed the degree in expertise and experience difference between the two fighters, with a calculated mind and focus on the Force the woman caught the hilt of her lightsabre with the tips of her fingers in her left and with the hilt upside down slammed Jadens blade to the side and away from her with a furious force and speed before she spun around and with her right elbow slammed it painfully into the side of the young ones head. She didn’t stop there as with Jadens blade deflected she spun around to her left again and threw her right knee into his gut lifting him into the air ever so slightly as she raised her right hand in unison and launched him backwards using her telekinetic prowess, tumbling to the ground several feet behind the blows to Jadens body either stung or felt numb to the furiousness of the hits. His head was dazed and confused and he was partially winded from the two blows to his torso, the fall had even made his finger slip enough from the hilt of the lightsabre for it to deactivate and return to its deactivated dormant state. |

Jaden was still thinking about the joke he made in his mind when the woman's onslaught started. He tried to guard himself and swing the lightsaber in an arch but was stopped by the woman's elbow to the face. Somehow, the woman had gotten past his guard, dodged the wall of plasma he was making with the lightsaber. Jaden tried to put his hands up to guard against further attack and to hide the large expression of pain and anger on his face. This was stopped by the woman's blows to his chest and then telekenetic process, which gave him even more pain to deal with. Jaden lay there on the ground, winded from the blows and trying to push the pain out of his mind. He swayed as he pushed his arms in front of himself. The blows stung enormously and the hit to the head was muddling his thoughts. But Jaden slightly stood and looked at the lightsaber that had, for some miraculous reason stayed in his hand. The lightsaber sprung to life as Jaden pushed the button and tried to look at the woman. There were still doubles of images clouding his vision but he ignored them to center on the woman. He realized that this woman invoked a certain amount of anger that he thought didn't exist. It amplified his hatred of the Jedi, hatred for his father, hatred for the galaxy and all of the people that inhabited it, and his need for revenge, to destroy and exact justice on the things he hated. It seemed to clear his head and numb his wounds, allowed him to think clearer and made him quiver, ready to kill this woman or die trying. Jaden's step faltered but he righted himself and started to walk towards the woman, his walk turning into a trot and then into a jog. His bellow seemed to shake the walls and he ran at the woman, prepared to swing the lightsaber when he was close enough... |

She was like a statue made of permacrete, her stance unflinching as the roaring Jaden rushed her ever so foolishly again. He was tapping into the right spots of his emotions the right areas for power, but he was untamed and untrained; he needed to be taught how to use this destructive force within him to unleash his true self and become the Sith he was meant to be. It was decided. With her side stance still secure her right palm facing and her sabre held upside down in her left hand. She was not worried about this new rush, in fact she was impressed for the first time in this little fight. Her signature smirk emerged again as he gained with impressive speed. He had started to tap into the right parts truly and fully embrace it with her pushings. It all happened in slow motion for Jaden as the next events unfolded, his sabre gained ever so close with a strong slash until his body seemed to just stop as if running into a vat of foam that hardened on contact. The Force gripped him strongly though his arms were free in their slash, which was soon dealt with; as she brought her own sabre up and skidded it across his blade in defence she flicked her wrist as his blade stopped and catapulted it free of his grip into the air in a deadly spin. The threat from the loose lightsabre was short lived as with impressive accuracy and speed the woman sliced it in half length ways from the bottom of the hilt destroying it completely and shattering the energy crystal inside. His blade went upwards as it sliced the lightsabre hilt in two and was quickly brought back down towards Jadens throat as he was thrown to the ground with her knee on his chest. Crashing to the ground he could feel the heat of her lightsabre tingle the soft skin of his neck and her knee pressed hard on his chest restricting his movements while she lowered her face a mere inch from his. “Gyntha Sarosa” |

Jaden was about to close in for the kill but was amazed as he was stopped in mid-step, not able to move a muscle. Jaden tried to move again, to throw the lightsaber at her in anger, but was stopped as the woman disarmed him. He looked up as the lightsaber was promptly destroyed, but did not care, only looking for another way to kill the woman. Fragmented shards from the broken lightsaber crystal dusted his face in a red soot of sorts. He was about to get up again but was stopped by the woman slamming her knee into his chest and lowering to his throat. Jaden looked up in hatred and startled pain, the knee sending knives of pain to his nervous system, but not painful or strong enough to break his ribs. Jaden looked up at the woman, and even in defeat was still thinking of a way to get up. He focused for a minute to blow away some of the red haze and listen to her utter the words 'Gyntha Sarosa' Jaden's red haze combusted into nothingness with the name, and with gritted teeth due to the pain in his chest and other wounds, he looked up. His mind was starting to take over again, and for the first time in maybe a dozen he thought clearly. "Who's name? Is it yours?" |

The hiss-snap of the lightsabre as it deactivated was a welcoming relief as the heat from the plasma vanished instantly as it was so close to Jadens face it was close to burning his skin.. Gyntha rose slowly off him unspoken as her knee dug into his chest harder for a second till she was standing and clipping the sabre back onto her belt. “Yes of course it’s my name child. You should pay more attention when a woman speaks you know it’s rude not to, though you have managed to impress me which is the only reason your alive Jaden Karr.” With that she smirked a pleased smirk and walked past the downed boy towards a hidden shoulder bag which she picked up and threw over her left shoulder and walked past him again into the make shift home he had made. She stood at the door frame as she done when she appeared and turned her head to the side slowly to see Jaden out of her left eye. “Two choices, you can lie there and flee till I hunt you down and kill you; Or you can come with me and really become a true Sith even more powerful than your Father.” The glow of the Synth-crystal that lay shattered in to a million pieces gave a kaleidoscope of red hue on the walls from the faint light above Jaden, it almost looked pretty. |

Jaden slightly gulped in reflex from the quick movements of the lightsaber and the snap-hiss as it turned off. He rubbed his throat as Gyntha Sarosa rose and sat up, using his elbows as a prop to keep himself up. Looking up at the woman, Jaden frowned in mock hurt. "You expected me to act like a nice, little child and didn't think that I could impress you? It seems we both have a lot to learn from each other." Jaden sat there, perplexed that the woman had allowed him to live, where if Jaden was in her position he would have slain her on the spot. Looking down at the lightsaber crystals with an unemotional gaze, he heard Gyntha's feet shuffling across the floor and the hefting of a large bag. Getting up on his knees, Jaden enjoyed the pain the crystals under his knees were causing and then got to his feet in one quick movement. He then listened to the woman's proposal and then took a step towards her. "Hm, I can stay here and enjoy the same fight we've been having and then die; Or I can come with you and be your tool while becoming more powerful than any Jedi alive. I think you can guess my decision." Jaden started to walk towards Gyntha and the door, looking down at what had once been his only possession. He came to a quick stop as he reached Gyntha's position and the door. |

“A rather good choice if I say so myself. If you had picked the latter I would have no gone on easy on you a second time.” Gyntha was now observing the pile of bodies that had been cut down earlier, rummaging through their pockets pulling out stray credits and various items that had no use to her were thrown to the side discarded. She smiled as a plan formed in her head and she stood to look at the poor stability of the back wall right hand corner. “You know your little dismissal of your Father and Mother has given me a small idea. So callous to use Thermal detonators in such a crude and uninteresting manner, you certainly have a lot to learn but you shall do well.” She stood from her crouch and moved back a few steps before exerting her Force powers into the corner of the room and more accurately on two support beams that offered exactly what she needed. With a pull of power she ripped the beams through the roof and into place covering the corner with enough space for a person to occupy just barely. “Do me a favour Jaden I’ll show you how to properly dispose of evidence if you so kindly pick up one of these corpses and throw it in that lovely hole then I’ll let you have the honour of playing a small game.” |

Jaden shrugged at Gyntha's comment, still irked by the fact that he was not strong enough to wipe the floor with her. He watched as she took credits and threw items around without so much as a respect for the corpses. Jaden nodded in approval and looked onward until the comment Gyntha had made reached his ears. "So these are the things you will teach me? How to dispose of people and their bodies as well, or is their more that I can learn from you?" Though Jaden despised being the equivalent of the woman's servant, the thirst for power was too much and ruled out every other course of action. He smirked as he approached one of the bodies and hefted one onto his shoulders. Jaden grunted with the exertion of carrying the heavy set man on his shoulders and exhaled in relief as the body left his shoulders and fell into the hole. Edited by Firelizard, Jan 5 2009, 12:46 PM.

as the corpse was aimlessly tossed into the enclosed corner Gyntha smirked as from her shoulder bag she pulled out a polished lightsabre handle and so delicately placed it in the corpses hand. Though with a hole in it’s chest from Jacens now destroyed blade, the way it looked gave it the slight appearance of a Jedi from a distance something that needed to be adjusted a little more. “There is much I can teach you and others in our… little covenant as you could say. You have yet to even grasp the full true power of the Force my young child. Though you have a flare I must admit.” She smiled again in an almost caring happy manner which seemed extremely confusing with the orange-gold glow of her tainted eyes and even more as she pulled a new object from her bag once more. A class-A thermal detonator, the strongest detonator available, though highly illegal for anyone outside of the military to posses. She flicked the ignite switch up and several small LED lights became to flash until she pushed a smaller switch to the side causing them to turn off completely. “You must learn to survive as a Sith, there are many Jedi but very few Sith. While the Jedi have the pleasure of sending out many of their own against us we must learn to think on our feet and to survive to keep the Sith alive. So you must improvise and take as many of the Jedi scum out as often as possible.” Her tone for the most was serious and concerned at the fact as she remembered the reality of their situation though she perked up into an almost giddy young girl as she thought about killing Jedi. She had pulled out some string out and attached it to the thermal detonator and placed it carefully in the hole with the strong pulled across some of the debris. “Well what you think? Artistic isn’t it. It should take sometime for the Jedi to be called here by the Coruscanti police if they see what looks to be a Jedi corpse. Then they shall definitely be Jedi corpses here soon enough.” She laughed loudly at the irony of the situation and her small booby trap sat happily awaiting to mane its victims. |

Jaden looked as Gyntha took the lightsaber out of the bag and held it high above the hole. As it dropped in and landed precisely on the corpse, near the hole in its chest made by Jaden. He looked onwards with a smirk on his face, as if feeling that the key to power beyond his wildest dreams was just around the corner. "Our little covenant you say, will help me in progressing my powers and honing them to perfection, yes?" Jaden relished the comment that said that he had something of a flare. He saw the woman pull a sleek, silver thermal detonator that just screamed death and destruction in the hands of someone like Gyntha. His glee started to match Gyntha's as he saw her flip the switch, flip yet another, and then place it among a string to complete her booby trap. "So it seems that while the Jedi have numbers and the government on our side, they are not as inclined and smart as Sith to use any means possible, right? While we do whatever possible to preserve our lives, they are willing to put other lives before theirs. It seems that we have the advantage in my opinion." Gyntha's excitement and glee rubbed off on Jaden and he found himself shaking more because of the hunt concerning the Jedi the Coruscanti Police would send rather than the cold winds that still blew into the building. He enjoyed how clever and yet simple the trap was and couldn't wait to see its opening act for the Jedi scum. He laughed loudly and looked at Gyntha expectantly, waiting for a response or some sort of action as the catalyst for more adventure, and more importantly, death and destruction. |

She clapped her hands free of any dirt that had gathered on them and stood straight and fixed her and her travel cloak to straighten everything out all clean and proper. “Perfection is such a strong and unachievable word, I could be wrong about you and you could be nothing better than a simple Force-sensitive candidate that will achieve nothing, I suggest that we keep your goals a little lower for now my dear.” She walked by him and stroked his chin as she walked towards the door and about turned to see the scene of her little trap and set up. The corner that the body occupied was perfectly obscured from close inspection but easily notable to be of Jedi sorts with the sabre in it’s cold dead decaying hands. A little rearranging could have been done but for its purpose the room was just right. “You catch on fast young Jaden, the Jedi learn to sacrifice themselves for the greater good while well we dispose of whatever is needed to fulfil our own lives and prolong our existence. A simple difference, but a unique facet to both factions now, it’s time to leave this hovel it’s beginning to depress me.” Gyntha exerted her senses to the corner with the corpse in it and using her mid pulled some more debris to cover more or the corner up and make it harder for someone to notice the thermal detonator until too late. |

Jacen scowled at the words said by Gyntha and wondered if it could really happen to one such as himself. The teen expelled this thought from his mind as quickly as it came and had nothing more to comment about it. "My goals are clear. I know that if you thought that there was even a large chance of this happening that you would have killed me on the spot." Jaden smirked as she stroked his chin and then looked outwards towards the little trap Gyntha had made. He nodded in yet more approval, knowing that several, if not more Jedi could be killed by such a simple booby trap. He then nodded at the woman's comment, pleased that his observation was at least partially true. "It was a temporary home at least. Though I admit that the only good thing about finding a place here was wiping out its former inhabitants." Jaden walked to Gyntha's side and looked back at the trap for what would be the last time for him. His eyes glinted in the night and looked like those of a jaguar stalking its prey.
