In some parts of religion, it is believed that when a person dies, they will be reborn again as something from their past lives. One island was proof that this was and still is true: Warship Island. Legend has it that every 1000 years, a thought-to-be extinct group of dragons named the Sennenryu, get together and die to be reborn again at a place called Dragon's Nest. Some pirates wouldn't be interested in hearing any of this nonsence. But to Victoria, captain of the Band of the Scorpion, this was a great way to make more gold and money by proving that did or did not exist. Relunctly, her crew were forced to go along with her hair-brained scheme. Kilik, who sometimes would not go along with her quick-rich schemes, acted surprisingly tolerant. This is because Victoria knew Kilik had a secret liking to dragons, and wanted to see them himself. As they sailed on the ship, the crew did want they wanted until they reached the island. Kilik sat silently on the top deck, playing with his violin. Victoria was controlling the ship, silently singing to Kilik's music. Yaiba was training in his own little spot, slashing the air around him. Kukku sat in the kitchen, making food for the crew, smiling to herself. Yun & Yang sat beside Kilik, one playing the cello & the other playing the flute. Tara sat on the tower of ship, staring out into the horizon. Arashi, stood on the ship, speaking with Ina. Zweig, was the only one in the bottom deck, who was writing in his journal. Victoria, looking out, saw the island, quickly approaching. Smiling, she quickly headed towards it. As they landed on the island, all of the crew departed the ship. Victoria looked at everyone. "Okay, we've arrived on Warship Island, so we all know what we have to do, right?" she asked. The crew nodded. Victoria nodded. "Good. So, all of the men shall go explore the island, while the women stay here and guard the ship." All of the women instantly agreed. Yun & Yang stood shocked, while Kilik remained silent with his eyes closed. Victoria looked at them. "Is there a problem?" she asked. "Of course there is!" Yun exclaimed. "How can you send us on this unknown island by ourselves?!" Yang quickly joined in. "Yeah! And besides, we don't know how big this island is." Victoria smiled sweetly. "You'll be alright. My intitution says so." she said. Yun & Yang were ready to protest more, but Kilik grabbed the collars of their shirts. "Quit arguing with the captain and let's go." he ordered. Yun & Yang sighed as they started walking with Kilik. The girls waved at them. "If you find any treasure, be sure to bring it back!!" Victoria shouted after them. The men sighed to themselves as they departed into the island. |

The young but determined boy stood up, as his spiked up blond hair was moved backwards. Putting on a fresh T-shirt, Neil was ready to go. "Ok Senshu. So do we all go together? Or are going to split up into teams?" After all a certain level of strategy had to be there, as to Neil it sounded better if they split into a group of two, that would stay near each other, then be one big easy to spot group. If something really did happen to the guys then this strategy sounded a bit better to the blond boy. |

Victoria looked at Neil and smiled. "Kid brings up a good point." she said. "We will split up into two teams, to cover more ground. Ina, Kuuku, & Neil will be one group, while Tara, Arashi, and I will be another." she said. "Alright, remember our current objective: search and rescue the men if necessary." Victori said, putting emphasis on the word 'men'. "Let's move!" she ordered as they all rushed into different directions. Ina looked at Kukku and Neil. "Be careful. We don't know what lies on this island." she said, pulling out her bow with an arrow in it, incase they were ambushed. As the men were sitting in the cave, they noticed how late it was getting. "I bet the girls are really worried about us." Yun said as he looked at the moon on the island. Yang nodded. "I know." he agreed. "If we weren't in this predictment, I'd be on the ship enjoying Kukku's hot, delicious meals by now." Yang looked at him. "You and me both, brother. You and me both." Yaiba ignored the two brothers, trying to wiggle his way out of the ropes. Kilik looked at him, and shook his head. Zweig stood on the wall, muttering to himself. Suddenly, a figure appeared in the caves. He looked like a tribe member, but it was hard to tell. Other men appeared beside him and picked the boys up, roughly. "Get moving." they ordered as they started walking to places unknown. |

Alright, so the order was given. The marksman, cook and cabin boy were to make a team while the other part of the crew went with the captain. Taking a boy and several arrows with him Neil went side to side with Kuuku, while Ina took the lead, as she was the strongest of the three. "I will, Ina-senpai... So how do you plan on searching? Start from the middle of the island, and then outwards, or..." The young boy looked to the side as he thought that something passed them by, but it only seemed to be a small animal, so Neil continued. "Where was I... Anyhow should we take the way the guys took?" He wasn't quite aware that this line was rather siilar to his last one, but since he forgot what he said, he didn't see anything wrong with his questions. |

Victoria, Tara, and Arashi continued slashing through the trees and vines of the forest, as they tried to clear a way for them to get through. Despite being dark, the time when the temperature got as low as it could, it was still very hot. Arashi panted as she cut through the vines. "Now, I can understand how the guys feel." she complained. "I don't see how they managed to cut through all of this vines, with it as hot as it is." Arashi wiped the sweat off her forehead. Tara shook her head. "You didn't have to come. You could have stayed on the ship." Tara said. Arashi laughed embarrassed, but inside her head, she was thinking differently. "And leave you with Kilik, you traitor?! Never!" she thought. Kukku held hands with Neil as they, along with Ina, traveled through the jungle. She didn't seem to mind, as she continued turning her head, whenever she heard a noise. Ina looked at Neil as he was talking, but stopped him as she heard a noise. He shot an arrow at it, and suddenly the noise stopped. She moved the bushes and looked as it was a bunny, that stopped dead in its tracks. She sighed, feeling bad. "One can never be too careful." she said, to Kukku and Neil. She continued walking with her bow on her back. She blocked out Neil's speaking, worried about the boys, espically Kilik. |

"Ina-senpai!!!!" The kid replied quite shaken at the actions of his teacher. "Don't scare us like that!!!" He added in a typical anime fashion as the little animal stood there frozen. Calming down the blond boys eyes moved to the side, as things got quiet again, it seemed as if the night could serve as an ally in this place, should danger be at the door. "Neee Kuuku, we should stay close to the trees, in case we do get attacked, we could use them for cover, and a way to counter or maybe..." He didn't wish to add that they could run that way much easier, but if all the guys were captured or attacked it would be a fair assumption that the person or people who did it were awfully strong, therefore running may be the only option. Hopefully this wouldn't come true, but Neil rather liked to assume the worst case scenario rather then being caught of guard. |

Victoria continued slashing the jungle, with a determined look on her face. "Kilik, where are you?" she thought, worried out of her mind. If anything happened to Kilik, she wouldn't know what to do. Tara and Arashi continued looking around, for any signs that may give them some sort of clue to find the boys. As they were searching, Victoria and Tara heard a yelp. They turned around and looked as Arashi was on the ground. "You okay?" Tara asked, holding out her hand. Arashi took it. "Yeah, thanks." she then turned around. "I think I tripped over something." Victoria looked at the spot and noticed something. Walking to it, she gasped as she saw a shovel. She picked it up. "This is what the boys had when they left the ship." Victoria said. "Which means..." Tara started. "...they were captured by someone!" Arashi finished. Victoria nodded and pulled out her gun, shooting it in the air, hoping Ina and the others would see it. Ina looked at Neil. "Better safe than sorry." she said. Kukku sweatdropped, while smiling. She was worried as well, but did a much better job at controlling it than Neil. She looked at Neil and whispered. "Don't be to hard on her. She's just worried about the boys, is all." she said, looking at Ina with a worried look. She then looked at Neil as he started talking. She nodded, and looked at Ina as she stopped in her tracks. "What's wrong, Ina?" Ina then turned around, grabbed Neil and Kukku, and ran into the bushes. She had her hand over their mouths, but slowly took them off. "Shh." Ina said, with her finger to her lips. Ina listened as she heard footsteps. She wanted to look up to see who it was, but if it was the enemy, they would be caught as well. She listened as the footsteps faded, and she sighed. She stepped out of the bushed and looked at Neil. "Now, you know what I mean by, being too careful". Suddenly, the three of them heard a gun blast and they looked in the sky. They recognized it as Victoria's. "Let's go!" Ina said as she rushed on ahead. |

Getting pulled in by Ina, Neil's actions were the same as the others. And as they heard the shot, it was clear what would happen next. The ones that passed them by would go there too, so this group had two options right now, try and get there first but potentially run into a trap, or try and set up a trap for the small group of people who most likely heard the shot. "Ina-senpai, we need to leave, but the people who came our way surely heard this. So we will probably run into them. But since they didn't spot us, we can use that to our advantage. That's why I'll go first and draw their attention to me first, and then you can suprise them fully. Alright?" With Ina's marksman skills it shouldn;t be a problem to take down several people if they were focused on Neil, of course Kukku wouldn't play the bait, that was out of the question. |

Ina turned around as was in the rear, finding some merit in Neil's words. She ran with her bow out, and in the back, so as not to endanger Neil and Kukku. Kukku continued holding onto Neil's hand as she struggled to run, being the weakest out of the three of them. Thankfully, they found no trouble on the way, but still they were exhausted as they made it to Victoria's group. Victoria looked at the three of them and handed them water. "You guys okay?" she asked, concerned. Ina nodded. As they six members were all together, they stopped all actvity as they heard a noise. They all immedimately went on guard, incase it was an ambush. But the noise continued again, as if in a rhythm. Victoria looked around and followed the noise with the others right behind her. They carried their weapons with them, being cautious. As they approached the noise, they noticed it was getting louder. Victoria pushed away some bushes and gasped at what she saw. The others also couldn't believe their eyes as they looked at the scene before them. They stared as they were looked at a bunch of people dancing and chanting around a fire. There were also people, beating drums, which explained the noise. The fire burned brightly as it rose to the sky. The people continued chanting as if in a festival. And in the corner, there were the men of the ship, bound to a stone wall. They were surrounded by guards with spears. They turned around, to check on the boys, every now and then. Zweig, averted his eyes each time to not look in the eyes of the guards. Yaiba glared at the guards, and was not shy about showing his discomtempt. Yun and Yang were too busy, staring at the dancing to notice the guards. Kilik, looked at the scene, with a non-caring attitude on his face. OOC: Couldn't find a good picture of tribesmen. Sorry. |

Luckily it all went alright, so the two groups could once again come together. However soon enough the guys that they were looking for were found, but not in a too good of a situation. As Neil saw it, there were many tribeman, who held some kind of festival, and Neil couldn't shake of the feeling that it was conected with their shipmates. "Why are they guarding them so hard..." He spoke under his breath, as he observed and slowly retreated to the back, just so he wouldn't be spoted. There he waited for Victoria to return. Since he wasn't the captain, he knew that he had no part in making a resque plan, but all he knew that he probably couldn't hope to match any of those tribe members in a power fight. Therefore he, atleast, had to play it smart and follow the plan. |

The Tribesmen continued celebrating, as they chanted in a mysterious language. They danced and hopped around to the rhythm of the beat of the drums. As they were, an elder tribesmen with a cane, began walking to an alter, where a person could see below him. As he reached the top, he beat his cane on the ground once, and suddenly, all activity ceased. Everyone's eyes, including the captives', and the Band of the Scorpion's, were on him. The man stared at the crowd, his eyes fierce. He then opened his mouth to speak. "My children..." he began. "Our time of greatness is here once more!!" he said, making the crowd cheer for him. Every 1000 years on this island, all of the dragons who were born and died here, are reborn." He looked around again, trying to think of his next words. "Midnight will be 1000 years, and the dragons will be reborn once more. However, in order for them to resurrect, they most sleep in peace, with their bones not defiled." He then turned his attention to the captives. "Yet, on the eve of this fine day, we always have theives, burglers, and pirates steal these precious treasures." The chief made a gesture with his hand and the men of the crew were taken off the wall and pushed to the chief as they walked up the long stairs to the altar. When they made it the top, the men's legs were kicked from behind, forcing them to get on their knees. The guards stood beside him, watching the captives. The chief walked up to Kilik, and he looked back at the chief with disrespecting eyes. "What is your name?" he asked. Kilik continued looking at him, but said nothing. One of the guards growled and approached him. "Insolent dog! Answer him!" Kilik again said, nothing. The guard put a spear to his neck, but again Kilik made no gesture. Yun, Yang, Zweig, and even, Yaiba were all surprised by how Kilik was acting. The chief put his hand over the guard's chest. "Leave him." he commanded. Kilik had a spot of blood appear on his neck, from where the spear had been. The chief looked back at the crowd. "Tonight, before the time of the rebirth for the dragons, these five will be sacrificed to appease the great and powerful Shenlong!!" again the crowd cheered. The men said nothing as the guards led them to the wall again. He smirked. "Enjoy your last hour on Earth, fools." he said as he chained them back up. The chief stepped down from the alter, through speaking. |
