Akuma Kitsuragi had just seemingly finished his battle outside the village when he was called back by a unit of ANBU, giving information that the village was under attack. Kirigakure under attack? Not on my watch. Its a good day. First I cut that Akatsuki Jashin worshiper to meet his god, and now more of them are killing my comrades. Maybe being taken off of foreign patrol wasn't such a bad thing after all. Kitsuragi smiled as his blue jacket rippled behind him. Maybe Seika would get killed in the attack and he'd be the war hero this time. He entertained himself with such thoughts as he sought out whomever was lucky, or unlucky, enough to meet up with the "Bringer of Red Rain." Come to think of it, he didn't even know what these attackers wanted with their village. Oh. He gave a mental shrug, knowing that finding cause was secondary to gutting the bastards. Akuma's search was coming near its end as he heard screaming in the area near the arena of Scornful Fury. So there were some unofficial fights taking place here, eh? The setting seemed perfect to make a few killings, but in truth setting didn't mean a damn thing to this particular Swordsman of The Mist. |

Akuma, however, was a demon of a man, and not one to take being swallowed whole lightly. Especially when he had gotten himself swallowed on purpose as part of his grand master plan in the death of this fearsome creature. His grand master plan? Why just what it always was: cut it until it can't be cut anymore. In truth, Kitsuragi hadn't even passed the serpent's esophagus and was still dodging its tongue within the mouth, hacking at whatever he could reach. Why hadn't he been completely swallowed yet? The answer was rather simple. Lightning Release: 10,000,000 volts of pure agony, his own original jutsu. While the flow chakra to his hand and subsequently his blade only carried a relatively small amount of electrical current, the constant hacking at the serpent's tongue and mouth caused muscle relaxation. However, all good things must come to an end, as Kitsuragi couldn't avoid being bucked back by a sudden muscle spasm in the creature's tongue, finally forcing him down its throat and into the digestive system. In the flailing of the event, his legendary, one of a kind sword was tossed upward, lodging itself into the roof of its mouth. Damnit. I hate having to summon more of those things. |

Jin having the flood in place had an active body of water which produced a more accurate sonar to his senses. Before the beast even began to surface the soil he could feel the shift occurring below his very body. Weak as he may have been or felt, he still had the timing to move out of the way, beyond that he was going to need to rest a moment to catch his breath. That was a major jutsu he had used, unlike when he was younger, it no longer winded him for an extreme duration but none the less he still needed to back off for a moment. Jin closed his right fist quickly and in response the water around him blew him hard to the right like an undertow just before the mighty beast rose up with his vengeful jaws. Sogetsu watched an analyzed in a 360 degree vision, noting the combat which was unfolding. Jin took a deep breath as another air bubble was brought to his nose, keeping his heart rate steady and letting the cold water keep his muscles relaxed to recuperate faster. Suddenly Sogetsu's senses went off as he picked up on Kitsuragi's chakra, feeling the flow and relating it to the nature of lightning. "Rest, Boy.", he called out in Jin's mind. Jin was unaware of what Sogetsu was sensing because he didnt take the time to relay it but he trusted the water demon's judgment. Without hesitation Jin curled all fingers inward like tiger paws and pulled both hands to his hips. Relaxing, Jin would allow Kitsuragi the time to handle the beast as he had requested. After his rest he would seek out the next invader, now that water was present in the village he could give them a fight never to forget... Edited by Jin Roushi, Dec 18 2008, 07:06 PM.

The pain, oh the pain! It was fast, strong, powerful and worst of all, unbearable. It clawed at the throat of the Tiger of God, made blood burst forth underground and made it start to choke up on its own blood. With a deep gurgle, or roar, it began to burst forth from underground, the sudden waves of water blasting it in the face and overtaking its sensese. It was too much, the pain, the water, the force of what it felt around him, and now something else began to tingle in it’s throat. Electricity. Being covered in the cascading waves caused the monster to go crazy as the wlighting mixed with it, drowining the creature in a mixture of its own blood, thrashing about under the water and feeling it’s body blast foreword in a mixture of light, water and blood into the sky, breaking the surface of the mini-lake and falling down onto the stands. It thrashed about even more know, roaring a deafining roar, and with one final blast of energy it threw itself into the pillars beside it, falling into the water motionlessly. |

Ok, admittedly, this was a bad idea, but I'll be fucked if it wasn't awesome. Who else would have jumped into the gaping maw of a giant serpent, which thrashed the earth itself and tore the ground asunder, and have made it look so god damn cool? Hell, who else could have done it at all without pissing their pants or freezing up? Yeah, if only there was an actual crowd to witness it. They'd all praise him for being a village hero. Him, Akuma Kitsuragi, not Uzumaki Seika. Bitch that she was probably couldn't even comprehend the idea of being inside a giant snake's mouth, hacking away at all the meaty meat targets that bled so beautifully. Of course, then there was his current situation. Standing in the monster's mouth and hacking away more and more of its life and sliding down the undulating digestive track, getting covered in corrosive acids and juices were two very different situations, and Kitsuragi knew instantly which he preferred to be in. The creature's digestion system was, surprisingly, small and constrictive for having such a large body. This made movement difficult, to say the least, but it also made it more fun, and more fun for the devil tends to be a very bad thing for the rest of the world around him. If he couldn't move as he was now.... "First gate.... Open....." The muscles gave more leeway for his movements, but constriction was still an issue. "Second gate...." There we go, now we're cooking with oil, or blood as it were. **** The serpent was still alive. Unmoving yes, but still alive. It seemed that it just didn't have enough strength to thrash about any longer, or perhaps it had given up, otherwise hoping its enemies believed so. Regardless of whether it would survive or not, it would be unable to ignore the pain of a word piercing through its eye. Then another. A third sword came through. A fourth. Blood was gushing from the wounds, but soon erupted as a man with red skin in a blue coat burst forth, carrying two more blades matching the same ones that had weakened the eye. "AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!" Kitsuragi flew magnificently, his snow-white hair stained red, his blue coat burned and singed from the stomach acids, and relatively unharmed. The blades the had previously been stuck in the serpent's eye disappeared in a poof of smoke, signifying their return from whence they were summoned. |

Jin remained exactly where he was, calm breaths as air bubbles were drawn toward his mouth and nose. He did become startled by the beast's struggle for a brief moment but only watched as the Tiger of God gurgled until the point of lifelessness. Jin was tempted to move in and behead it after it fell, but he indirectly agreed to let Kitsuragi take the beast on his own...that and he needed a bit longer to rest. He could sense that Sogetsu wanted out, but there was no point in letting the demon cause chaos. Not yet anyway... |

Landing in the water and rising up again, Kitsuragi's skin and hair was washed relatively clean. he was winded, terribly winded, but not quite tired or exhausted. "Eh, we got work to do! There's more people to kill!" Kitsuragi shouted to wherever Jin happened to be, an obvious bloodlust in his voice. Concentrating, he rose up to stand on the surface of the water. He still carried twin blades, but also held between his side and right arm was a chunk of the serpent's brain. |

[]Jeff...maybe you forgot, but there was a reason I told you not to try and stand on the water. Wade in it, swim to safety...but DONT STAND ON THIS JUTSU!! ~ .~[] The moment Kitsuragi's feet Chakra touched the surface of the water, the jutsu became triggered against him and in reaction the chakra of the water locked onto his like a magnet and pulled him to the bottom of the water like an anchor. With Kitsuragi sinking like a heavy rock, Jin was able to pinpoint his location by vibration of the water and forced the water to bend a straw of air directly to his face so he could breathe. Jin stood up, and rather than swim, he graphed his feet chakra directly to the ground under water and walked over to Kitsuragi. He held up his index and middle fingers and with a quick focus he commanded the jutsu to release Kitsuragi, like taking the shackles off of a prisoner. "I wouldnt adv Edited by Jin Roushi, Jan 7 2009, 08:51 PM.
