The World of Darkness

Welcome to this forum roleplaying game!
In this game you can partake as many various roles in various different settings. The 3 types of characters you can create are Vampires, Hunters and Lycans, and within each of those types are various different options that will be much deeper explained to you in the players guide.
But no matter which of the 3 character types you choose for a character in any game here, there are some overall rules that apply to each and every game, and those rules you can find here.
Unless otherwise is specified under each specific roleplay in this world project, you shall assume these rules are in effect.

Rule #1: No God Modding - You do NOT control NPCs or other players actions or reactions to anything
Rule #2: Power-Playing - You do NOT start up all powerfull! Having the ambition to get there is an entirely different thing!
Rule #3: Write in 3rd person past-tense - Writing in 3rd person makes everything smoother, just get used to it!
Rule #4: Spelling and Grammar - I do not require nor deliver perfect English myself, but I do not, unless appropriate for the character, want to see messages like "lolz" in a roleplay.
(Yes, the quick one will notice I just stole this from The Adventurer's Academy, but they are good rules)
Rule #5: Format your posts right:
You should not use bold, italic or underlines text unless it is necessary¨
Speech has to be between " and be explained.
Examples:
Quote:

John approached the 2 men in the corner. hi!

This is completely wrong. The speech "hi" is not between " and is not explained.
Quote:

John approached the 2 men in the corner. "Hi!"

Partially right; Now it is between ", but still not explained
Quote:

John approached the 2 men in the corner and casually said "Hi!"

The right way to do it.

Italic may be used for thoughts your character is having, but do not simply put it in Italic, put it between " like speech and explain it
Examples:
Quote:

John approached the 2 men in the corner and casually said "Hi!". Those two seemed like easy prey

Italic, but not between " and explained, making it wrong, the 2 right ways to do it would be:
Quote:

John approached the 2 men in the corner and casually said "Hi!". "Those two seems like easy prey", John thought to himself

Quote:

John approached the 2 men in the corner and casually said "Hi!". "Those two seems like easy prey", John thought to himself

Bold or Underline may be used in speech if your character is putting pressure on that or those specific words
Example:
Quote:

John looked the threatening stranger in the eyes. "Now, you listen to me, buddy, or you're as good as dead! Do you understand?" John said without blinking

Do now, however, use bold or underline on a complete speech segment, instead put "shouted" or simuliar as the description of how your character spoke.

Put OOC talk inbetween [ and ] at the end of your post. This should include abilities you activate, as well as any questions you got for the moderator
Example:
Quote:

John pushed the attacking zombie towards the edge of the bridge with all his might

[I use my Willpower to boost my strength for this action]
