I've got a Ph.D in kicking your ass.

It was a generic metropolitan day in Las Angeles, California as Abreotnes and his personal squad arrived via Longboat transportation. All in all, the third seat had brought with him five squad members, his elites, leaving the rest behind. They knew how to react to Abre. He was all business, and they were his charges. They were to act with only the utmost efficiency and address him as their superior. Immediately after disembarking, one pulled out his hollow radar, checking for any signs of intrusion.

"Sir, we've got a reading. Its a big one."

"How big?" Abre asked rather coldly, not even glancing in his subordinate's direction. His eyes were scanning the entire area, the analytical scientist as he always was.

"Bigger than we've ever seen. And condensed. I can only think its one of those new hollow the Gotei informed us about."

"When will it be coming in?" he shot back.

"Any moment, sir."

"Then I guess its time to see what they can do. Prepare yourselves."

Kaworu's eyes suddenly widened in anger and exertion, putting a good deal of spiritual power and physical strength into himself as he slammed his spear shaft vertically forward against Jeff's locked blade to send him back.

"And you would give your life for such a meaningless task? Delaying me will not halt my goals."

Yes, I fought Kaworu. And I lived.[RPGData:10005|9|28|56|3|3|482|222|Dragon Sword|Dragon Armor|Dwarf|40551|None|None|134|6|1|0|None|NaN|None|The Klu Klux Klan]

Avirama threw up his right hand and caught the blade in full, gripping it without showing any sign of pain of bleeding. He smiled underneath his helmet, though it would be unseen by Abreontes's eyes.

"Surprised? You should ask yourself this question, Abreontes: How can one grip onto the blade of a sword with his full hand, yet not recieve so much as a scratch on it?"

OOC: There are several options you can take here.

Abre showed no emotion as the arrancar proved his skin was strong enough to grab the blade without being pierced. In fact, he had his own comeback for the bird-man. "While that question does deserve some exploration, I believe a better one would be 'why are you so incompetent?' Better yet, why don't you unravel the mysteries of the universe, Compello?"

The blade Avirama's hand wrapped around grew in length, and thinned out, until it had become a battle baton, with Abre still gripping the handle. What came with this transformation, however, was Abre and the gungnir slipping through Avirama's body and falling back down to solid earth. The real surprise, however, had come after. Abre had only spoken for such a time to distract the arrancar while the blasts of energy he had previously dodged homed in on him once more, about to strike once more from five distinct directions, like a cage.
