The wind blew harshly across the barren, sandy lands of Nar Shaddaa, whistling past the make shift camp that seem to be resting in the middle of no where, a desert where the sun shown harshly against the beaten lands. It appeared as if no one had walked these lands for some time, though there was definite signs of life, the paw prints in the sand was proof of that. But there she was, on her own, the only sound, other the wind, was her own breathe as she lay, hidden in the make shift tent away from the prowlers all around her. Her master had left her a while before this, on her own, stating it was some form of test. What kind of test was this though? No one around but her. Only Jade Andra Sith Apprentice... A distant howl in the distance broke the silence... Now what? |

Awakening in a small makeshift tent in a barren sandy land was not how Jade had expected to wake up.... Jade now stood along amonst the sandy dune of Nar Shaddaa, her dark hair whipped about by the harsh blowing winds that dragged the sand across the barren looking land around her. She wore her brown tunic with a brown cloak, the hood that had been up to protect her fact had long since been pushed by by the winds, exposing her face to the elements as she surveyed her surroundings. She knew nothing about the location other then it appeared as though she were the only one there, paw prints in the sands showed that life resided here, but not the life she was looking for. Her master had stated that she was to be put through a test. Was she to show she could survive this harsh enviroment? Jade would strive to survive to strong that she was strong enough to pass this test. She peered around her, seeing if perhaps she was given something to use to protect herself aside from the force, it would be helpful to have some aid, but Jade didn't exactly expect it since if this was a test, she would be made to use her mind and survival wits. The wind whistled as it moved, giving the land around her an eerie sort of feel, her thick boots crunched over the sand and she brought her hood back up to protect her face that had started to get whipped by the sands. She needed to keep her eyes safe because being blind and susceptable was the worse thing she could think of. Returning now to the tent where she had woken up, she searched for items of use, the howl in the distance sending shivers down her spine, not that she would ever admit to showing fear, not know. She closed her eyes and did what she could to meditate and keep herself calm, a trick that often worked in strenuous situations, she would be fine, she would survive and she would pass this test. |

Her Master knew of the strong will, but this was not only a test of the will power of Jade, but of the planet itself. The master had been charged with surveying planet itself, a prospective place to build a Sith temple, a training academy. The surface itself was harsh, and barrenous, but the feeling of the dark side here was overwhelming, and it brought a smile to Jade’s Masters Lips. As Jade looked around she would find a vibro blade resting next to her, and a small sack with a small list of supplies. A lamp, a few glow rods, and enough rations to last her at least a day, not to mention the tent she rested within, but that was it. As she looked upon the rations though, she was becoming more and more aware of the soft rumbling settling within her stomach; it wouldn’t be long till it turned into a full blown hunger. As she closed her eyes, she got a shadow glimpse of man, the darkness making it difficult to see his features, though his frame made it quite clear. He had began moving towards her slowly, but clearly, a lightsaber hanging at his waist, showing he was at least a Jedi, maybe a sith. But who was he? |
