Character Template Name: Jade Andra Age: 17 Gender: Female Race: Human Alignment: Darkside/Sith Force Sensitive: Yes Rank: Apprentice Portrait: ![]() Appearance: Jade stands at an unimposing 5'8, a slender atheltic form given due to strenuous training to keep herself into shape. She was born with one leg ever so slightly shorter then the other, so she walks with a slight limp in her right foot. She has long dark brown hair that is almost black that cascades over her shoulder and down her back, halting just at the middle of her back. She has high cheekbones that some might find attractive and a rather small nose. Her pale pink lips are often kept in a straight line, neither smiling nor frowning. Her intense deep jade eyes are the most intriguing feature on her and also her namesake. They appear as though they could see right through you and perhaps they can. Due to where she was born, she has a light tan skin but burns easily enough in the hot sun if exposed to it too long. Armour/Clothes: Brown armour beneath a dark brown cape. Usual garb is a simple brown tunic normal for an apprentice with a crimson sash. History: Jade was the product of a forbidden love, a Jedi master choosing love over duty. Ile Andra was a human woman strong in the force and wise in the ways of the Jedi, she worked with the younger children more then anything for that was where her heart lay. It was forbidden for the Jedi to marry and this saddened Ile Andra for she dreamed of having a child of her own, quite literally. She would dream of holding a dark haired infant in her hands, it was on her mind a lot so it was hard to hide from the other Jedi she was around. Her master had passed on when Ile Andra became a Jedi Knight and she missed her guidance, but she ignored her maternal instincts for the time being. Her restraint ended however when she met up with a young man, a handsome man that somehow was able to charm her. Never did she ever guess that the man that spoke so lovingly to her was in fact a sith that had been sent to do just that. A vision through the force showed him that he was to have a child with the woman and she would be strong in the force. She would of course have to be taken out of the equation if he wanted the child raised with the sith, which he did of course. He seduced Ile Andra and helped her decide to marry him, doing the hardest thing she had ever done in leaving the Jedi temple and the order itself. Just as Ile Andra had invisioned, she soon held her infant daughter in her arms after she and her husband moved to the moon of Yavin 4. Daekon, Ile Andra's husband, despite the side he had chosen to take, loved his infant daughter. He saw a future sith in her dark emerald eyes and would wait until she was old enough before he chose to return with her to the sith and present them with a little prize. Jade was raised with a mother that adored her and her father and a father that loved his daughter and pretended with his wife, which was sad of course. Growing up beautiful like her mother and strong like her father, she never could have imagined the life she enjoyed in the rainforests of Yavin 4 would change in an instant. When Jade turned four, her father decided that it was time that Jade be seperated from her mother and taken to the sith, she needed training in the ways of the force since her mother had done all she could to hide the force from her daughter. Ile Andra didn't tell her husband about the nightmares she suffered, the fear that she had would have child ripped from her arms, but the man that did this was faceless. When the day came, the ship landed in the darkness of the night, Ile Andra laying asleep as well as Jade. Daekon went out to meet the sith and while he had done all he had been told, he met with a lightsaber through his chest. The pain of betrayel was ironic really since he had meant for the same fate to happen to his wife. The sith that had come to collect the girl could see that having her father around would get in the way, since he had fallen in love with his little girl, he wouldn't be good for the little sith girl. Jade was ripped from the arms of her mother screaming and crying and watched as she was cut down by a flash of red light, then she was knocked out. When she woke, she was in a ship, one of the men explained that they had "saved" her from the bad men that hurt her mother. They explained that the bad men were called Jedi and that they would kill her to if they had the chance. With that information, Jade embraced the Sith and their ways, holding tight to their hatred and anger and power to cover up the pain and loneliness she felt at the loss of her mother and father. Personality: Jade is a strong willed young woman who allows people to know her opinion whether they want to hear it or not. She has a strong work ethic and believes in earning everything, she doesn't shy away from hard work nor does she mind pain so long as she is getting something out of it. She challenges authority when she feels she needs to and isn't afraid of the consequences of her actions, it's foolish when dealing with sith, but she isn't the smartest girl in the world. She is stubborn and willful and has a cunning mind. She manipulates people to suit her purposes and has no regrets about the things she has done to get where she needs to go. Underneath her sarcasm and nastiness is...more sarcasm and nastiness. She has a soft spot but it is rare to be seen, usually only surfacing when her mother is brought up since her mother is such a sore subject.
