Pain. A smile broke across his face now, thin but there, his eyes looking dowards towards his right hand, within lying a small black rod. It was spinning in his finger, in his palm, his eyes scanning the area below him. Metal. That was what he saw. Ninja scrambling throughout the rain to get to there homes, do there training and go on there missions. Light spectrums switched through his eyes, each one revealing something new about the village, something grand. Something spectacular. Itachi toying with the intruder, Deidara and his team leaving to go to their Bijuu, the homeless fighting, the ninja working.

Beautiful.

A laugh broke from Deva Realm then, his eyes seemingly not noticing the fact that the country he had created from his own hands had turned into something dangerous, a military unlike any other. It was a destructive thing, a tangible thing! Almost as splendid as the sun itself, strong enough to overtake any nation with but a moments notice. It was almost as if…Pain felt himself break into another laugh then, it was just too much. Far too much for him to comprehend so easily!

But he was a god, he was something more then a mortal man…Yes he could comprehend it all, he knew everything that went in and out of the country itself, his rain like phenomenon making sure of that. Before the country had been weeping in sadness, not it wept in joy. In a blood drunk state that fueled it onwards, ever onwards. As if it was a living breathing mass it existed, Pain’s chains of command animating it, making into something that he could use. A true tool, a tool to destroy all that opposed him, a tool that would allow him to bring forth true peace. Pain’s body bent over as it sat now, he was laughing, enjoying the moment of zen he know felt. He hadn’t felt this good sense he had obliterated Hanzou and his makeshift tribe of clans.

The laugh continued as Pain looked back across the country that now served him, holding out the hand that played with the black rod. These things, these were the keys. His eyes looked into them, looking into the black hole that made up the object, observing every littlie minute structural piece of information that existed in it. Perfection. Why was there need of something as trivial as incompetence or stupidity when a god such as himself existed? It was a ridiculous thought, why even go on lifting if one could not appreciate the pain that others felt?

Aw, theres that word. Pain was musing in his minds now, his train of thoughts moving in seven different directions. Pain was something all the trains stopped at though, how could one claim to be alive if they could not feel the pain of others? How could one claim to exist if pain was not an important part of there lives? It was disgusting! VULGAR! It took Pain all he had not to scream out then, he had to restrain himself, not to draw attention to himself from the villagers. They knew he observed him and they dare not observe back, they would simply be overwhelmed if they did.

The Rin’Negan blinked then, Pain’s hooded head turning to face Madara behind him. “Tsk.” The sound was loud, Pain made no effort to hide his current disgust from the man. Instantly Pain knew why Madara had come to him, it was blantly obvious that Konan had went to him. Afraid. He narrowed his eyes, keeping his sitted position as he looked at Madara before turning his head back to the city.

“Speak.”

Madara walked in, step after step, without the slightest sign of rush to position himself within Pain's sight. Well, at least in a respectable way, Pain could easily see him from any corner of the room. But Madara liked to walk like that. Long steps, that made his body almost hover, the bloodstained robes wavering gently at the not existing blowing wind. An interesting sight, indeed.

Getting in front of Pain at a 45º angle, more or less, Madara looked at him through the void leading hole on his mask, a trap of swirling lines on an orange background. His voice sounded soft as always when he addressed his speech to Pain. “So, I hope you enjoyed Konan. She sure did.” In his speech there was a slight note of sarcasm… or not. Who knew?

Hmm, how interesting this was for Pain. His unstable mind was laughing in his head, and now he began to laugh outloud, Madara sure was the brave one. He had a reason to, he had survived eighty years after his supposed death, mostly due to the strength of his chakra. Pain felt himself laugh harder now, the strength of his chakra? A foolish thought, any chakra that Madara had now was dwarfed by Pain, the fool had no power left to compare to such a god. Such a being as Pain.

Pain stood now, his body covered head to two from the rains that buffeted the city, and with but a hand seal they stopped, settling into a light fog across the village. He turned now, peering into the dark mouth of the tower, his eyes shifting through the light and using both normal light and X-ray spectrums to see Madara with the perfect clarity. He did not care to look beneath his clothing, it would have no effect on Pain whatsoever. But now it was time for the two too really talk.

Deva Realm stopped his laughing, his mouth stopping in the shape of a thin smiled as he cocked his head under the hood he wore, his eyes peering deep into Madara’s single-shown right eye. Pain never thought to look beneath it before, but now curiosity smited him. What did this mortal think he could hide behind that mask? Clearly he made no attempt to hide his ugliness, he had the gull to come before Pain with a bloodsplattered Akatsuki robe and mask. A fool truly, he had no clue what was before him.

The question that he asked made the whole situation even more amusing for the Deva Realm, his personality was fitting perfectly with this situation. Arrogant, inflated, power, controlling, amused, all of it was being absorbed into the eyes of Pain.

“Is that really what you want to ask Madara?” a hint of a laugh found itself in those words. A mocking laugh. “You want to know if it was good or not? I’m sure you have tested that yourself, thoroughly over the past ten years. But that is a different story, as now I have no idea what to do with you yourself.”

It was releaving beyond belief to speak to Madara in such a manner now, it felt as if something on his chest had been lifted. Every word he spoke held a mixture of an amused, sardonic and biting tone, all communicated to Madara as easily as a God knew how too. Almost as if Pain was now looking down on the man.

Madara’s grin didn’t disappear. It didn’t widen either, but it didn’t fade by the slightest. “I did. A lot, actually. Always a new experience…” Madara’s voice was actually very charismatic, the soft tone mixing up with the untamable fire within the man. “But that’s not why I’m here. It has something to do with it, to an extent, but it’s not about how good she is in bed. It’s about how good she was.” He let these words sink in, as he took a few more steps towards Pain, looking him straight in the eyes.

His grin started to be taken over by a more sanguine smile, though it wouldn’t pass out into his speech whatsoever. “Just remember, in a near-by future, that Konan is not a doll. She’s with me, and she’s fine like that. Leave it that way.” It wasn’t a threat. Threats were empty, vain, and completely useless. That’s why Madara simply warns. And even the warning showed that he respected Pain… or that he needed him, rather than cleaving off an arm like he’d do with any other who committed such bold action against his “food”.

Oh what was this? Madara really did have the balls to talk to Pain in such a way, yes, he did. It was nearly too amusing to listen to him speak, Pain just couldn’t help but snicker at his comments. It was kind of interesting, really, to watch a crippled old man whose chakra supplies and strength that had weakened down to that of an ant try to talk to a god in such a manner. Kind of watching an ant try and kill a dragon only to be burnt by the fire. Just too amusing.

Pain crossed his arms then, closed his eyes and sighed, letting his smile diminish slightly, but only to allow Madara to think he had the edge now. His charismac way of speaking, the way he walked, how he believed himself to be all might because a normal attack couldn’t even harm it. How foolish could one man be, to think that they in any way could own a god? An angel was a different story however, the angels could be corrupted and taken and his had, but it was no loss. Shinobi on Konan’s level were easily replaceable. Almost as if on cue Pain allowed the black spear like weapons his bodies could summon to whiz out of his sleeve as he threw out his arm, allowing the blade to go past Madara’s mask and strike the wall behind him. Pain had heard enough of his talking.

It had gotten annoying, just flat out preposterous to hear this man talk sometimes. He actually, seriously thought he had own and controlled the Akatsuki! Pain just gazed at the man’s lone sharingan now, his smile turned into the blank expression he normally held when the other Akatsuki were around. There was just no point in listening to this man any longer.

“Allow me to tell you how the world will work from her out, Madara. You can have Konan, she is of no use to me any longer except for her abilities. You have taken her for yourself and corrupted the angel, and therefore she is no longer suited for me,” Pain was speaking no lies, no sarcasm here; only truth, “Your empty threats and warnings mean nothing to me as well Madara. I have analyzed your abilities, nothing in your repertoire can harm me, so do not even think of trying to take this organization for yourself. I have taken orders from you for these past ten years since you found me and took me under your wing, and I have listened to you out of respect. Madara you should know that you have fallen out of my favor now,” Pain’s smile was starting to come back now, from the sheer instability that made up his mind, “I will still take your words into consideration however, I will admit you are a great asset to this organization but you no longer call the shots by yourself. I decide whether your words are nessercary, and that is the final word, the law of the god.”

Pain pulled back the spear now, stopping it at the mask of Madara. He tapped it once before desummoning the spear, throwing up his hood and folding his arms across his chest again. Several minutes of silence passed as the god let the words set in, resetting the amount of order that he had created and established in this world. Madara would know who the god and who the mortal was here, and he would not forget.

Madara shook once, yet again, and then simply broke out laughing. Not simple laughs, loud laughs, cracking laughs, like someone who had just been told the best joke. Madara grabbed his chest laughing, not being able to pass on enough oxygen to sustain such laughter, hand grasping for the wall for balance, the room vibrating under the echo of the violent laughs cracking off the man’s mouth.

After a few more laughs, however his fingers slipping under the mask to clean the tears that had slipped from his closed eyes as he laughed his ass off. Getting to his normal stance again, he breathed in and out several times before looking at Pain. He looked, and laughed a little more, facing the wall to control the laughter. Once he was done, he repeated the breathing.

“My, my, you sure have grown up, yes?” Madara looked straight at Pain again, his voice no longer shaky from laughing. “You think so greatly of yourself… oh so mighty… who tha fuck you think trained you? That fool, Jiraya? I could have slaughtered you like a pig when I met you, boy, but instead I took you in. I trained you into what you are. I know every strength of your bodies, and every weakness, whether you know it or not. Now… we can fight amongst ourselves likes plain beasts, or we can unite our strength into turning the world into what we desire it to be. I have made my decision long ago. Have you!?”

In all the heavens, hells and earths there were, never were two powers so dangerous, deadly, clashing and just insane meant to meet with each other. It was the forbiddeon sin for such a thing to happen, the gods themselves would have did there best to prevent such a thing. They had been smart if they would have succeded but here they failed, here they have ended up allowing the two beings to meet in hopes that they would tear each other apart. They failed in that manner as well.

Pain brought his heightened emotions down, if Madara and him were to fight it would tear about the village, and though Pain was sure he would come out on top the fact was that the two would tear each other apart to some degree, Madara would lose his life and Pain would have lost all six of his bodies. A very unlikeable situation.

Moving over back to the mouth he laid his forehead, protector still on, the tooth of the ugly demon-like mask of the Tower of God. Madara finally spoke some sense, the fact that both of them together would be much more effective then both of them against each other. Pain allowed his Deva Realm to turn back towards Madara, he was right again. He knew every strength and weakness of his body, and Pain knew every strength and weakness of Madara. It would be fruitless for the two to fight in any case, such a thing would be a disaster, but the word that Madara spoke, the name Jiraiya, really just brought Pain back to the old times.

How nostalgic.

“You are correct Madara, you did find me, you did train me and we would both be much more effective together then against each other. But allow this bit of reasoning to go into your head, you know my weaknesses and I know yours. If we fight we destroy each other, however I would still live for the soul fact that you don’t know what I really am,” Pain was right on this one thing, only Konan knew that Nagato’s body still existed and where it was, and no matter what Madara could try he had that secret protected in even her brain. Madara would never get the upper hand there, “But even in that case, I am willing to allow you to live, along with this village, at this current moment. But believe me Madara, you are not the soul leader of this organization. For now on we come to a consensus, and that is the law and the word of god. You know as well as I do that this is the best thing me and you can come up with, Madara.”

Madara looked at Pain. Well, he did make sense now… cutting the “Oh I’m a god” bullshit, planning things out together seemed better, Madara could be silly sometimes. Making members hunting some beasts just for the fun of the battles, or creating silly tactics just to test out and play with nifty jutsus had been a waste of time too… Maybe Pain was right. “Well, maybe we can work thing out 50-50. Two brains think better than one.” Turning around, he looked pretty bored, though the mask wouldn’t let it see. Not caring to stop to drop his leaving comment, Madara added in a mocking tone. “And that that stick off your ass, you’re only a god to the people down bellow. The way I see it, a ninja is still a tool… act like one.” Disappearing behind the door, Madara would be nowhere to be found if Pain tried to… Madara would be how he liked it… off the radar.
