The Embassy of New Steinland is a large intricately designed building that acknowledges the cities rich architectural history. It is an old Spanish inspired building, with a modern twist. Made of mostly glass (shatter proof, bullet proof), it has a stone molding surrounding it, somewhat like a shell, giving that old building effect. The exterior walls (front and side) are made of glass, reinforced by titanium. The side exterior walls are made of stone. They are 3 feet thick with a one foot thick lining of titanium in the middle. The embassy is 14 floors tall, and has 3 levels of underground parking. Surrounded by 15 foot wrought iron fencing, the building is protected by the most elite of all Stein forces. There are 40 military personnel on site at all times, and 10 guards at the door. The office of Foreign Minister Benjamin Goldberg is located on the 14th floor, in the penthouse office. The embassy being located waterfront, he enjoys magnificent views. Also, Ambassador Steven Ellis' office is located on the 13th floor with a similar view to that of the penthouse office. The entrance hall in the embassy is a two floor foyer decked out with marble floors, golden trim along the ceilings and walls, mosaics dating back to the 13th century, and a marvelous red colored carpeting. A private restaurant is located in the back of the embassy featuring a waterfront balcony where diplomats enjoy five star meals. This restaurant is said to be one of the best in the world, by many food critics whom were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to eat there. The many safety features of the embassy are well implemented, making it one of the safest in the world. The three support systems in the building ensure that if the building is damaged in any way possible, and one of the structures is jeopardized, there are an additional two structures that can take on the weight of the building preventing collapse. The walls on both sides of the embassy (the front and back are glass) are 3 feet thick with a one foot thick layer of pure titanium lining them, making them virtually indestructible. The glass walls in the front and back of the embassy are made with state of the art shatter proof, bullet proof glass that is reinforced with eloquent titanium molding. There are also several escape routes via the sewers, river, and roof that are accessible from the inside out only in case of emergency. These are all manned by at least one military personnel at all times. The embassy is also equipped with its own fire and police squads. There are 15 fireman on active duty at all times, and 20 police officers to aid the military personnel if necessary. In case of power failure, the embassy operates on both a separate grid with a direct link to its own personal solar power plant. In addition, it has 15 back up generators that allow it to operate without a direct link of power for up to 2 months. The glass walls in both the front and the back of the embassy are also equipped with micro solar panels embedded in the glass, which help recharge 5 generators solely dedicated to powering all forms of communication such as fax machines, computers, wireless internet routers, news broadcasting equipment, telephones, and even telegraph machines in case of total communication failure. When a diplomat comes the the Stein embassy, they have nothing to fear. Out state of the art embassy will provide them any service they may require, and if it does not, let someone know and guaranteed next time you visit it will be available! |

to The Republic of Cape Verde We find all of your answers more than acceptable. You have won me over Ms. Vercita! Your loyalty and passion expressed towards your nation is a truly remarkable site to see. Such a nation as you described would be a most valued ally in Africa, and in the world. We share similar ambitions, and interests. Our people will rejoice when the press release comes out that The Allied States of New Steinland and The Republic of Cape Verde have formed a bond stronger than no other. Our agreement entails the following: Non-aggression pact Free Trade Agreement and access to all Cape Verdean lands Military, Airforce, and Naval bases all granted to the Stein forces in the city of Catió, Guinea Bissau We wish our Cape Verdean brothers and sisters only the best for all of their endeavors, and hope to be working together side by side soon." The Ambassador shakes Ms. Vercita's hand and leads her out to his assistant whom he instructs to do anything Ms. Vercita may ask for. |

José Castellanos took a good look around as he made his way toward the embassy. This was his people's ancestral land. He had lived in Conquista his whole life, that was home to him, but he also knew that his ancestors had come from this place, it was in his blood. He made his way to the entrance. When he reached the guard he displayed his credentials and introduced himself. "Good afternoon, I am José Castellanos, Ambassador of El Conquista Imperio. I am here to negotiate an alliance between our nations." He said to the guard and awaited a reply. |

"of course, please follow me." The guard led him to the security checkpoint before the entrance to the embassy. A woman behind a desk said politely "please dip your finger in the ink, and press on the paper. We need your fingerprints on record. When you are done, please remove all metal objects from your person and proceed through the metal detector" |

"Yes, of course." He complied without hesitation. After inking his thumb and giving his print he pulled his phone, keys and pens out of his pockets and laid them along with his watch on the tray before walking through the metal detector. |

Ambassador Castellanos walked through the detector with no sounds alarming, and was given his peripherals back. A young woman greeted him and asked him to follow her to the waiting area. He looks up and down in the main hall and admires its marble walls and gold trim. Once he reaches the waiting area he is greeted with fabulous waterfront views and a charming secretary. She informs him that Ambassador Ellis has been expecting him, and to follow her. She leads him to a mahogany elevator. They enter, and press the PH button (the only button on the panel). The doors open, and the secretary leads him through the hall to the door of the Ambassadors office. He enters. "Good afternoon Ambassador Castellanos, or should I say ¡Buenos tardes Embajador Castellanos! I hope everything has been to your liking so far. It is a pleasure to have you in our embassy." exclamed Ambassador Ellis. |

He was pleasantly surprised to be greeted in his native tongue. "Thank you for your hospitality. Emperor Audaz and I have been looking forward to this meeting for some time." He said before taking a seat and placing his brief case on the table. |

"Ah Emperor Audaz. I've heard great things about him. Es un hombre muy intelignete, pero tambien, es amable. Right. So as we have previously discussed via telephone, we are here to work out an alliance. The great nation of New Steinland is honored that your nation has asked us to be an ally. We cordially accept your most gracious offer. We wish to now discuss more in depth of this alliance. It includes: Non-Aggression Pact Free Trade Agreement and access to all lands As we have previously discussed. We will offer you total access to the Straight of Gibraltar for all shipping needs, and in return we ask that invade, succeed, and annex The Falkland Islands to The Allied States of New Steinland. To thank you if your great nation succeeds in annexing us the Falkland Islands, we will be much more open with you, as you would have proven yourselves worthy to us. New Steinland would nestle El Conquista Imperio under her wing, and possibly even share technological developments with them. " said Ambassador Ellis. Leaning back in his chair, he awaited a reply in some form of confirmation. |

He opened the brief case and pulled out the formal document and started to read. "After several hours of discussion with the council, Emperor Audaz has officially agreed to invade and annex The Falkland Islands to The Allied States of New Steinland. In return for, as previously agreed upon, unimpeded access to shipping routes. The navy is prepared to act immediately upon conformation of this agreement." He finished reading and sat back, it appeared the deal was all going to work out fine. "Well, there you have it. It appears we are both in agreement, shall we make it official?" |

"We Shall" Smiling, Ambassador Ellis took up his 17th century feather quill, used by King Danielle IX himself, dipped it in the oil well and signed his name on the documents. He walked over to the corner of his office and opened a refrigerator. He brought back two wine glasses and a bottle of wine. "Lets celebrate this joyous occasion by enjoying one of the finest wines ever made in the Spanish country sides. It is a Gran Reserva 1856 white wine, grown in the northern fields of Galcia." As he was pouring both glasses he stated that "1856 was an amazing year. The perfect amount of rain and sun produced the best grapes. Let us toast, to our glorious alliance, and budding friendship!" They clinked glasses and drank the exquisite wine. |

The Stein Embassy wold like to announce its re-opening to the public. Due to certain domestic issues, the embassy was forced to shut its doors for a few months. However, everything has been resolved and we are welcoming any and all countries to enter into dialogue with one of our diplomats. We thank all of you for your cooperation and we hope you will be in touch. |

~A letter is mailed to the Spanish Embassy, when opened a jewel incrusted fleur-de-lis falls to the desk of the opener. Monsieur Ambassador, France wishes to open diplomatic ties with her neighbor to the south. I would like to make an appointment to your embassy. We acknowledge your policies of expansion in Africa and would like to share our policies with you. Please do allow me the chance to meet with you. Sincerely, Ségolène Royal, Minister of Foreign Affairs |

Ambassador Ellis mails back a response. It reads Bonjour Minister, Our two glorious nations together could do many wonderful things. I am most looking forward to this historical meeting. I can arrange for transportation to pick you (and the Ambassador if he [or she] so pleases) up in Paris and have you back here in Madrid in less than 3 hours. I will send a chopper to have at the ready whenever you are. Cordialement, Ambassador Ellis |

Madame Royal took Ambassador Ellis up on his offer and flew in the helicopter he had sent to Paris. When the copter landed in Madrid the Minister stepped out, hair flying about her face and made sure as to grab her portfolio. She proceeded down a flight of stairs and spoke with the receptionist. "I am Ségolène Royal and I represent the French Republic. Monsieur Ellis and I have been corresponding via letter and I have arranged an appointment." |
