In appearance, the Embassy of the Russian Socialist Republic appears to be more of a prison bloc than a diplomatic embassy. Tall barbed wire fences surround the entire complex, with vigilant guards posted at various checkpoints. Posts are located at the North, East, and South sides of the embassy, each filled with ever watchful, and nearly omnipresent guards. These SPETSNAZ guards bristle with modern weaponry, and bear steely expressions, or gas masks upon their face. Security in the Russian Embassy is, needless to say, top priority. Trees of dark green foliage cover small stretches of land, hiding the corners of the complex with their harsh beauty. And in the clearing is the main building. At the Main Entrance, two large columns stand at either side of the great entrance way. Draped over each column is a huge banner, each identical, with a deep red covering the entirety of the flag, with the exception of a golden Sickle and Hammer on the upper left corner. Its base is low to the ground, but then extends into a great spire, which dominates the area. Atop this tower flies a massive flag of the Russian Socialist Republic, so large that spectators from great distances can recognize it. On the first floor of the complex lies the Ambassadorial office of Viktor Kazulin who, despite his reputation of being an intellectual, claims to have a horrible sense of direction, and thus wanted an easy to find office. Closer to the entrance is Boris Antohi, whose office is conveniently placed, simply because he is lazy. At the mid point in the building is the workplace of Leonid Gagaran. Higher in the building lays the office of Ambassador Kremer, who enjoys the psychological effect which stair climbing can have upon Ambassadors of, less favored nations. Spoiler: click to toggle |

Of course, of course. However, if you need to field test proto-types of the tank, New Steinland will be more than happy to complete controlled, real world combat testing to better your design. If you decide to take us up on our offer, do not hesitate to call our embassy." |

"I will remember that comrade. Now then, good day to you. May both of our nations prosper in these troublesome times." Boris said amiably. |

The Vulture-like Byzantine ambassador Basil Palaiologos was driven toward the Russian Embassy in a diplomatic limo bearing the crest of the Empire. Basil waited as the driver showed his diplomatic credentials the guards at the perimeter... |

The pale faced Russian guard briefly scanned over the identification, and approved of it. He replied promptly, "Follow me to Ambassador Boris' office, Sir." |

''Very well though I do hope you wont lead me on a long terk I am an old man you know'' Basil's engraved cane clicked on the floor as he followed the guard, he didnt lean on it that and his brisk pace undermined his protestations of frailty |

"Luckily, the journey won't be far. Ambassador Antohi is incredibly lazy, and opted for an office near the main entrance so he wouldn't have to put any effort into getting there." the Russian guard answered, amused. "Here we are now, Mr. Basil." the guard added, and waved him in. |

"Sit down Ambassador Basil, please." Antohi said gruffly as the Byzantine Ambassador entered the room. The Russian then sat up in his chair and leaned forward on the table, asking "Now, Ambassador, what is it that I can do for you today? What word comes from Byzantium?" |

A nice Jaguar XF pulls up in the parking lot. A well built, tall man exits the vehicle and approaches the guards. "Hello I'm Hendrik Rabane, ambassador to the Northern Corporation. I'm here in talks between our two great nations" |

The Russian guard wanted to role his eyes in reaction to the sight of the Jaguar. Such excess was not generally looked kindly upon at the R.S.R. Embassy, but he did not do such a thing. Instead he greeted the Ambassador and asked politely, "May I see your credentials please?" |

Basil sat-down and spoke his voice was dry ''It would seem Russia looks to the east for expansion what I wish to discuss is the state of the trans caucus region more specifically the former Soviet Republics of Georgia Armenia and Azerbaijan. Byzantium regards these territories as laying within our spire of influence just as Siberia, Ukraine and Belarus lie within the R.F.R's'' Basil retrieves a document from his coat pocket, and swt it on Antohi's desk ''We are both practical people despite our…ideological differences we can work out an agreement which will ensure our mutual security and advance our interests to that end the Emperor of Byzantium offers Russia a mutual defence pact and free trade agreement'' |

"The R.S.R. accepts this agreement. We look forward to working with the Byzantines to secure peace in the East. I am sure that our two nations could have much to contribute to these efforts. However, be warned that though the R.S.R. hopes to bring peace to our sphere of influence, the full might of the Russian War machine lays in reserve against any malicious act of any nation. The abuse of ethnic Russians and the suppression of Socialist movements shall not be tolerated." Boris answered with an unwavering confidence. "But my words are wasted on you, Ambassador. I am sure the Byzantine Empire has no foul intentions." he added distractedly. |

''Byzantium’s interest in the former Soviet space lays in the Transcaucas state such as Armenia Georgia and Azerbaijan you need not worry about ethnic Russian's or Socialist movements there since I doubt those nations have much of either. Besides Byzantium has troubles elsewhere we must take care of'' Basil indicated the documenton Antohi's desk ''Our treaty requires only your signature'' |

Boris looked up and replied sharply, "Well exactly. All of these areas are former Soviet Republics, and within them there are large numbers of Russian minorities, and in the case of Georgia, Ossetian minorities as well. Both are very numerous Ambassador. Do not think that one can claim regions just based off of mere influence. Do not think the R.S.R. supports Imperialism either. I will warn you now." He then signed the Free Trade Agreement, and Mutual Defense Pact. Edited by Fenring, Oct 28 2008, 10:40 AM.

''Of course Byzantium is not engaged in imperialism. Indeed we are fighing the Greeks based on their nuclear proliferation and expansionism. We share very close cultural and linguistic ties to Greece are of course concerned with the fate of our fellow Orthodox Christians under such rule'' Basil pick up the signed treaty ''The Emperor also wishes the R.S.R well in any efforts to re-unite Russia under one flag. Goodbye'' Basil rises and prepares to leave Edited by Maniakes, Oct 28 2008, 11:15 AM.
