General Information Name: Kushina Uzumaki Alias: Idiot. Blockhead. Tomboy.  Gender: Female Age: 35 Country of Origin and Village: The former land of Whirlpool Current Residence: Land of Fire History: Kushina was born and raised in the former land of Whirlpool in the head clan. The clan was renowned for its abilities with water maniuplation, namely whirlpools, but secretly their real benifit was that they seemed to have HUGE amounts of Chakra naturally. This meant that their jutus used a lot of water and could manipulate large amounts of water, or else they'd never have been able to create such large whirlpools or summon large amounts of water. The land of Whirlpool was attacked and destroyed over several long years. The Land of Fire was the only country that aided them and helped relocate refugees into the Land of Fire. This was when Kushina met Minato. It wasn't love at first sight, she was too busy trying to save the last survivers of the clan and he was trying to help, but soon they'd fallen hopelessly in love with each other. Somehow their affection survived, even though they spent many long weeks and months part at a time, she with the relocation and he with his duties as a sensai, they rarely got longer than a few days together. Not many people knew about them. Jirayia did, of course, and Tsunade did to some degree but they seemed to be apart so much that no one else figured it out. Soon after the relocation was finished and the land was empty of survivers, leaving only the invaders, Minato was made Hokage and Kushina agreed to retire. She'd had enough of the ninja life. They married secretly, not wanting to take away Minato's title as Hokage and Kushina moved into the Hokage's building. She started to teach at the Academy part time. Soon after, she became pregnant, and even then people barely knew or believed that she was really the Hokage's wife. Kushina had to retire from being a teacher as well but she was with Minato almost all the time, even with the pressing wars and death they were happy spending all their time together. The nine months passed with them barely apart for more than a few hours, save for a few times when the Hokage had to go, and they agreed to name the child Naruto after Jiraiya's hero in his book. The fox attacked just a few hours after she went into labor. Kushina and Minato KNEW that it wasn't just conicdance, though they couldn't explain why or how, and they also knew that there'd be only one way to stop the nine tails. So they spent the last hours of Minato's life together, loving each other for their last few hours, planning, agreeing to what she had to do when he had gone. They both knew that Naruto would have a hard life. Minato had a methord to put half the fox's chakra, the Yin half, in Kushina, though she never understood how as sealing was never an area she understood. That way, if something happened to Naruto, half the fox's chakra would be gone and it wouldn't be as powerful if it escaped. Kushina had to keep it hidden till Naruto was sixteen, that being the age she and Minato met, and then she could let Naruto know about her, about his father, about everything that'd happened. But they also couldn't shake the feeling that something else had to be happening. Naruto was born. Minato took him to a cave pubically, letting all see him with the child, and Kushina went on her own to another secret place. The sealing happened to her and to Naruto, Naruto was made the container for the fox and the Yin chakra was sealed into Kushina. She had to leave and so she did with the last few survivers of the clan. People either assumed she'd died in childbirth, she was young, or they just forgot about her. She was never labeled as a missing-nin as she never really was a Konoha nin in the first place and no one thought to find out where exactly she went. Kushina hid herself in the Land of Fire in the remote areas, near the water, and stayed there as quietly as possible. She's a lot like Naruto so that wasn't easy but she still managed. Even though Naruto's not yet sixteen, Kushina got impatient and decided to return early in time for his sixteenth birthday. Note- She is NOT another container for the fox, she is a container for half the fox's chakra only. It does mean she's allowed access to the same amount of fox chakra as Naruto but as she's been hiding and doing her best to NOT draw attention to herself, it hasn't really done anything more than sit there. Rank: None yet, must be given one by the Hokage upon return. Team/Affiliation: None. Former nin of the Land of Whirlpool. Chakra Affinity/Specialty: Water and Wind, has huge amounts of natural chakra, also can draw on the Yin chakra of the fox but hasn't really learnt how to do that as she hadn't needed to. Kushina knows all her clan's secret jutsus now, she learnt the last of them over the past few years, but she's still a big fan of overwhelming people with shadow clone after shadow clone. (Her natural chakra amount meant that this was the attack she could do early and effectively.) Characteristics Visual Appearance:  Physical Appearance: Short red hair in 'pixie cut' (refuses to keep it long as that was how Minato liked it), curvy hourglass shaped body, dark blue eyes, pale skin. Clothing and Armor: She wears pants and a jacket, and a necklace- a whistle hanging off a blue swirl. (The clan symbol.) Kushina still hides who she is from everyone, so the symbol is hidden under a jacket, but she refuses to take it off. Personality: Loud, tomboyish still, very friendly and warm. Does what she believes is right and nothing else, and never really wants to give up on something or someone unless she HAS to. A bit of an idiot too, she's not really that intelligant compared to others, but has enough personality to hide that. Weapons General ninja weapons, shuriken, kunai, rope, explosive tags, steel wire, the usual things. She stocked up. Doesn't really use weapons but keeps the basics around. Kekkei Genkai Kekkei Genkai Clan Name: Uzumaki Clan Village of Origin: Land of Whirlpool. Jutsus: Whirlpool Rank: A-E depending on chakra put into it. Element: Wind Range: Depends on size of whirlpool and strength. Type: Offensive Effect: Secret Clan Jutsu. Creates a whirlpool of the caster's desired size and strength in any type of water. Is laced with the caster's chakra but can also cause problems for people trying to stand on water. Water Summon Rank: S Element: Water Range: N/A Type: N/A Effect: Secret Clan Jutsu. Floods the area with a LOT of salt water. (Only other person who seems to have similar is Kisame. o_o But let's say it's a bit different somehow. ) Watersprout Rank: Wind Element: A-E depending on chakra put into it. Range: 0-10+ depending Type: Offensive Effect: Secret Clan Jutsu. Raises water up into a large water twister. The caster has control over the direction of it and the size/strength. Air Bubble Rank: A-E (Lower levels mean smaller amount of air is able to be kept up, so lower the jutsu, less people can be sheltered. E is one person. A is a reasonable group of people. ) Element: Wind Range: N/A Type: Defensive, Supplementary. Effect: Secret Clan Jutsu. Creates an airbubble under any water at any depth to hide in, meaning the caster can hide themselves or others from harm or danger, air can be replenished by bringing futher bubbles down. Clan Limit: Genetically born with HUGE amounts of chakra and with a 'Save everyone, even if it means sacirificng myself' attitude. Almost all clan members are gone, died from using too much chakra while trying to save the last survivers of the Land of Whirlpool. Kushina's one of the last. Used to be a bit like the Hyuuga clan, with family branches, and they were the ones who ran the Land of Whirlpool. Weakness: Their jutsus are designed to work with their huge chakra amounts but that doesn't mean their chakra is limited. They DO run out and because the jutsus require such huge amounts, it wasn't unheard of for someone to misjudge what they had left and drop dead because they tried to do another huge jutsu. Or if they were more like their parent that wasn't born of the clan, with a more normal chakra amount, again... not good for them. Jutsus (Most of her jutsu knowlage was put into Clan Jutsus only.) Shadow Clone Jutsu Rank: A Element: Range: (0-5 meters short, 5-10 mid, 10+ long) Type: Offensive and Defensive Effect: Custom Summon- Shark contract. Rank: A-E depending. Element: Water Summons a shark of various levels, depending on chakra put in. Higher levels of sharks don't require more chakra than other contracts but the difficulty in working with a shark is well known and it isn't reccomended unless the caster has a lot of chakra to deal with the shark. It's okay for Noccy to use it... seeing as it looks like my character aren't going to die anytime soon anyway and I can't get a fourth character. >.> But it'd have to be up to weehay or TFE to approve it/her. |

No real official word on what happened to her .Minato, yep, we know he's dead, but we don't know WHAT happened to her. Or what happened to the other half of the fox's chakra. |

oh yeah and RPing sample Kushina stood staring at konoha, the wind making her short red hair play around her face with excitement swelling up in her breast at the idea of seeing her little screaming boy again, hoping he didnt scream so much anymore. She laughed at the idea and took one step two steps slowly then with a bounce she was running at konoha, thinking 'ready or not, here I come!' It was Narutos time to hide apparently, her time of hiding was over. |

what Corynder said ^o^ wikipedia also has nothing on what happened to her just that shes presumed dead But if they can somehow rescue shikamarus sensei from the dead then her mystery is easy to solve. |

I guess I'm willing to approve this Kushina and Kushina story, but you have to understand that as the manga reveals more things about what happened to Kushina and what Kushina is/was capable of, and the secrets of the Uzumaki, etc., you will have to edit and alter this profile and character no matter what. The manga's canon truth will always take precedence over the original elements of this profile. |
