As head of the military, Pride (under the alias of King Bradley) ruled Amestris with absolute power, though just what kind of ruler he was differs depending on the persons opinion. In the English dub, Pride appears relatively benign (in public) and seemed to have the people's general support. Ed stated that if Mustang killed Bradley the people would hate him and he'd never become Führer himself. On the other side of the gate, Ed confused Fritz Lang with Pride, not knowing that the real Pride had already been killed by Roy Mustang. Recently Pride was reanimated in Youswell by Toby Whexler who was tricked by dante into believing he could bring back his long lost mentor. Characteristics Visual Appearance: (ignore the wings and the tear thingy and the left eye is always covered with an eyepatch to hide the orbouros mark on it) Physical Appearance: A tall man (6 feet 3 inches tall) and weighing in at 200 lbs.(of lean muscle) (he does appear broad shouldered but not overly muscular) with a wild mane of shoulder length brown hair. His face, usually bearing a smile, is slightly round in shape giving him a childish look. This is very noticeable when his hair gets cut shorter. His eyes are an odd shade of greenish blue. They tend to reflect light giving them an almost silvery look. This effect is particularly noticeable in bright sunlight.He tends to have a little bit of stubble from forgetting to shave. Clothing and Armor: He usually wears a mossy green trenchcoat with a hint of brown at the collar and wrists, black dress pants and a black t-shirt underneath. The jacket is usually left undone to show the t-shirt. His shoes are simply black dress shoes. Personality: He is the type of person who will always smile regardless of how desperately horrible or depressing the situation is. This mindless optimism can be very confusing for someone locked in a duel to the death with his or her hopes and dreams on the line with him. They fight with all of their might and he remains blindly cheerful. This is just an act however, he is a megalomaniacal egocentric being whos only purpose is to continue to feed his ego. The fact thatDante considers Pride to be her finest creation and favors him over all the other Homunculi. This is seen when she scolds Envy for calling him a "humanoid doll" and when she accedes to his suggestion to station Sloth in his office instead of his home out of consideration for his "dear wife". only adds to his ego. Items: Set of swords, red stones, eyepatch Abilities "Ultimate Eye" gave him the ability to see everything, such as Marta when she hid in Al, or the air currents within the wine cellar as he was fighting Mustang. His favored mode of attack was with his court sword, which he wielded with alarming accuracy thanks to his unique gift.
