Posts: 355 Group: Coloholic Members Member #2,439 Joined: May 22, 2008	As Victoria and James arrived near the small store, they snuck around the back to keep a low profile around the undead. Victoria looked at the single, black, metalic door that was locked at the doorknob. Testing the knob, the silver knob was locked and she had to pull her hand away, since it burnt some to her. She gave a nervous laugh and turned to the skeptic James. "Static, caught me by surprise." A lame excuse, but one she had. Glaring at the inanimate object, she gave the door a good, hard kick which broke the said lock and flung it open. She was just as surprised as James probably was. "....Never knew I had that much anger in me," she said and drew her pistol as she walked through the doorway. She heard James pull out his rifle and follow her as well. Closing the door and barracading it with a few heavy objects, they made their way through the unlit store. Everything was quiet, almost deafening. Stepping up to an aisle, she and James were extremely cautious as they stepped around broken glass from some of the cases that held little knik knaks.

"Let's see... no... that place was over run by the time I left... no... they died...." he mumbled to himself before he suddenly smiled and looked back at James. "Yes, but it happens to be in a place where you might not... enjoy the scenery," he said as he let James have some room. He felt something hit his head and he looked down to see an opened box of tissues on the floor, probably what hit him. Looking in the direction they were thrown in, he saw Victoria blowing her nose but glaring at him. "Enough of the teasing Master," she said as she blew her nose again, then stuffing the used tissues in a waste basket. She went over to her bag and pulled out another box of ammo for James' rifle then zipped it back up. Shouldering the bag, the semi-automatic, and putting her handgun back in the holster, she was ready to go back into battle, though her hair looked a tab bit dishevled. "Well, we ready to do, mates?" She asked, giving a small smile at the older males.

A part of him knew that there was almost no chance that they were still alive but James just couldn't admit that at least not until he'd made some effort to find them. Since finding his parents house empty he'd counted on the chance that they had made it to a safe place. Earlier he'd expected that to be the police station but those hopes had been dashed earlier. As he finished loading his spare clips with the bullets Victoria had given him James said. "All set. Lets get out of here." OOC: Continued in Inner city: High school
