It'd felt like forever since he'd been back home, and he missed it. He missed his friends, the food, studying alchemy and he even missed Roy, although he'd never admit it. He was in the house alone, and was waiting eagerly for Al to come back. How long are you gonna be Al? you're taking forever

Simple ill distract them while you and Al retrieve the bomb, then we will Fix the gate, and go home.... Where is Alphonse? he isnt as able as you are you know

He had a small bag in his hands filled with a bunch of small little things. He sighed and knocked on the door before opening it. "Brother I'm back."

I didn't really mean for it to take that long." He looked around Ed and saw a all to familiar face. At that sight he dropped the bag he was holding. "Brother thats not who I think it is, is it?

We'll need a military car, if me and Al are gonna sneak in the research facility. Plus there's no guarantee that we can get the bomb out, so we'll need a back up plan. Plus an escape route, in case we are found out

The car isnt a problem, and i say we should secure the blueprints of the building so we can find the escape route. I know at least one of us can use the Vents due to size, and i can drive. Good thing is we can repair the gate from almost anywhere.

Since he was out shopping he didn't know what they were talking about, but he had some clue as to what it was. "How are we going to get a car brother? And we are going to need a good cover or something. We can't just walk into a research facility and walk out with a bomb."

Well if Dad can take car of the car issue then that's fine, as long as we get to the bomb we'd be fine if our cover was blown. We could always threaten to set the bomb off there and then, that'd scare them into not trying anything funny. Plus they'd be too scared to fire at us in case they set the bomb off. The only real problem is getting the bomb out the research facility He looked up at his dad before continuing Would you be able to fix the gate on you're own outside the facility? if you could that'd be our escape route once outside the facility. Me and Al will protect our selfs by threatening to set the bomb off, while you fix the gate outside the facility. When we get the bomb out we'll head back home with the bomb, we would only need to take a few feet outside the facility and we'd be gone

I suppose as long as we dont hurt anyone we could steal a car from someone. As for the gate, I can fix it on my own, but thats the problem, I know how to get to the gate, thats how i knew you guys were still here. The problem is i dont know how to repair it without being able to use alchemy.... unless..... Hohenheim reaches into his coat, and pulls out a chunk of the philosophers stone, it radiated a gentle red, scratched and dulled from all the years of wear and tear. I think i know why Alchemy doesnt work in this world. You cannot provide energy to transmute the materials because there is no where to get it from, but if your exempt from the rule of equivalent trade, that might mean you dont need the energy that is based of humans, since the energy would be in the stone, alchemy might be useable

His father had pulled it out as if it was nothing and him and Al spent so many years searching for the thing. Ignoring the rules of Equivalent exchange got us here in the first place, we can't ignore the rule of Equivalent exchange. He thought for a minute before continuing Do you think the philosophers stone will be enough for Equivalent exchange, something that powerful should be acceptable. Plus we can't bring that thing back with us either, it's too dangerous if it gets into the wrong hands
