Dar'Shajirr walked across the bridge, heading out towards the mainland. "Now, to travel the world!" He said. He thought it sounded better in his head; a nice way to start of a journey of epic proportions. Once he said it, he realised how lame it really was. |

"Yes, first the fields, then the rivers, soon a great big boy like yourself might even make it to the Volcano. Before the mudcrabs get ya, that is. So where first, big traveller?" A wood elf laughed, her dark brown eyes flashing with some unreadable emotion as she gazed at him from the other side of the bridge. She fingered the small silver dagger on her hip, her pale hair falling down her face, her neck, her shoulders, down to her back. She glanced out beyond the bridge, to where she could see a rat moving across the land downwind. "Or the rat might kill you." |

"That's a lot of things to see then." She laughed, the laugh reaching her dark almond eyes, and shifted in the rain, the glint of something shiny around her neck catching the lanterns just for a moment. "Never been interested in what lies on the other side of a gate? No, of course not. Silly me. You'd never be interested in a Daedric weapon, or armor, or the treasures they have..." As she said treasures, that thing around her neck glinted again, she'd moved to stand up straight and was striding off the bridge, towards the silt rider's direction. The rain continued around him, thick and heavy, and involentarly an image of warmer Cyrodill would flash into his mind as water made his fur soggy, of Daedric weapons that he might find, of being able to ride a horse instead of trudge along on foot, all of these things flashing there as he would see the wood elf's grey and green clothing nearly get lost into the thick rain. But if he looked beyond her, there was still that rat now on the path, ears up and nose twitching as it tried to smell the wood elf, a flying thing further on flying across the water, and beyond that, Morrowind. |

Dar'Shajirr decided to let the elf go. He didn't feel that she was in any way worthy of his trust. He decided that the rat which was hanging around needed a beating. He tried to sneak up on the rat, in order to hit it from behind. |

The rat was creeping towards the direction of the elf and the rain, the wind going from the rat to him, didn't let it smell him and the soft ground cushioned his feet so that the soft noises were overwhelmed by the sound of the rain. It had its back to him and didn't notice him at all. |
