Posts: 261 Group: Coloholic Members Member #2,277 Joined: May 1, 2008	Nation Name: The Austrian Empire Flag: Leader: Emperor Maximilian III, Holy Roman Emperor, King of Austria and Hungary Heir Apparent: Prince William IV, Duke of Austria Government: Absolute Enlightened Monarchy Ministers: Prime Minister - Duke Leopold von Nurmeburg, Duke of Venezien Minister of War - Lord Marshal Albert von Bologna, Governor of Vienna Minister of Policy - Prince Frederick IV, Duke of Hungary and Savoy Minister of Foreign Affairs - Queen Maria Augusta, Queen of All Austria, Empress of the Holy Roman Empire Head Ambassador - Princess Maria Caroline, Princess of Austria Ambassador - Thomas Ludovik Ambassador - Sigismond von Berlin Economy: 2nd Tier History and Summary:The Austrian Empire was formed with the death of an Emperor. For long the Habsburg Family had dominated European politics but with the death of Heinrich Habsburg the Holy Roman Empire was divided between his sons. Philip inherited Spain, Charles gained France, Henry gained Germany and Maximilian was given Austria. Now only Maximilian still hold his throne, the Bourbons took France and his brother, Henry abdicated his throne and allowed the Germany Confederation to be dominated by the damn Prussians. Now Maximilian is the last of his brothers, the last head of the Habsburg Family and thus Holy Roman Emperor. The Pope bestowed the title on him just recently with the death of Max's brother in Spain, while he fought agianst the last of the Moors. Maximilian now finds himself at the head of a tired nation and a tired family, tired of war and conflict. That added to many cultures and peoples and what they brought with them, language, views, religions, etc., make the empire cringe at the seams. His Majesty, Maximilian III, Holy Roman Emperor, King of Austria and Hungary, has begun to enlighten the system. Taxation of the Noble houses and lessening the burden on the lower classes.
