General Information Name: Komatsu Yoshihana (thats first name then last name btw) Alias: The shadow walker. Gender: Male Age: 248 Birthdate: December 13th 1760 Birthplace: Japan Current Residence: No set location, wanders frequently. History: Komatsu was an average shinigami serving in squad 6 of the thirteen protection squads, constantly reknowned for random acts of violence or mindlessness, Komatsu of course wasnt being mindless but simply trying to entertain himself, one day it went a bit too far and he almost killed a squad mate. Considering him a loose cannon without hearing his story he was set to be imprisoned for life however due to his skill at stealth he found the plan out and fled into Rukongai, there he burnt his shinigami robes and disguised himself as a citizen for a while until some shinigami wandering through the area decided to show off a little and threatened him, when he fought back they realised who he was and called back up before being rather swiftly rendered unconcious. When reinforcements arrived they were too late and Komatsu escaped again, he spent his time wandering and intermingling with rukongais underworld eventually making friends with a man named Ryuuki who understood his friends constant run and showed him a closely kept secret, a hidden gateway to earth that only he and a few other un-named individuals knew about. Thanking Ryuuki, Komatsu took the gateway and made it to earth, stealing some average citizen attire and resumed wandering the country not particularly eager to catch the attention of any shinigami on patrol, and started his life as a renegade, training only in remote locations and moving by daylight. Many years later he thouht he had perhaps been forgotten and decided to see what had happened in soul society since his departure and returned to the gateway, when he arrived he was greeted by the same old Rakongai air and headed off towards the doors to Seireitei whereupon he donned his shinigami robes and passed the gatekeeper, it went well for a few days and he even startd to intermingle until one day he crossed paths with the man whose life he almost took, and soul society was up in arms against him again but despite training by himself he still proved strong enough to overwhelm the attackers and flee into Rukongai, returning to the gateway he quickly made the jump to earth where he soon learnt that soul society now considered him an active threat and all shinigami on patrol were on the lookout for a man of his description. Now that his running has intensified he keeps moving all the time, only occasionly meeting with shinigami, most of whom have proved no challenge, but theres definitely stronger ones out there so how long untill they start to show up? Some time after hiding again on earth he was approached and attacked by a group of hollow, most he killed but one caught him off guard with some form of projectile before being sent to soul society, wondering what the strange object was he went on to learn through communication with his zanpaktou that it was a hollows essence, unable to locate and terminate it within his own soul he sort out the group called the Vizard, who could supposedly keep this entity contained. It took him half a year and it seemed hopeless as the hollow within him matured, scratching and tearing at his mind as it tried to gain control of his body. However his efforts were not in vain and he found the Vizard headquarters, welcoming him to the group they tought he could only control the hollow if he could subdue it within his mind, as he went into battle against the strange hollow it seemed he would lose, but jus tbefore the final strike came Komatsus zanpaktou spirit came to his aid, allowing him to defeat the hollow and take control over it. Soon after this victory he took off wandering again but still knows he is always welcome in the Vizards presence. Appearance: He wears standard shinigami robes and sandals, also has a necklace with 5 dark red square crystals on it. He maintains a bored expression most of the time except during times of particular surprise or in a tough fight. carries his Zanpaktou on his back. usually keeps a set of human civilian style clothing for when on earth. Visual Appearance: N/A Physical Appearance: Komatsu is lean yet stronger than he looks, his body is also very flexible. His hair is dark blue and messy, spiking off in random directions. His eyes are the colour of hazel and he is 5 foot 6 inches. Clothing and Armor: Besides the shinigami robes Komatsu carries a standard civilian garb on his person that allows him to blend in better on earth consisting of a red t shirt, a black hoody that hides his zanpaktoua simple pair of jeans and a dark blue baseball cap. Personality: Komatsu is usually as bored as his expression, tending to due things just to amuse himself, it is not uncommon for him to randomly destroy a car or wall then dissapear just to see the results, usually hiding then merging with whatever crowd may have gathered to investigate. In battle he usually maintains his bored expression but he is calm calculating and strikes with precision. The only time he is particualrly happy is during something that keeps him getting bored, whatever it is doesnt usually last long but during states of intense boredom he may try to find and engage hollows in order to perhaps gain the attention of nearby shinigami that would perhaps keep him further entertained. He does not usually kill a foe for he percieves it to be dishonourable to kill an enemy simply out of boredom, but he will not hesitate to kill a hollow or perform soul burial on spirits he encounters, believing being stuck on earth while chained to a place or person to be the most boring thing of all and therefore couldnt let someone go through that. Visual Age: 28 Zanpakutou Zanpakutou Name: Kageraikaku Spirit Appearance: Kageraikaku is a giant demon looking spirit that resides in the shadows of Komatsus inner world, capable of stepping into light however he detests it and is slightly weakened by it. When capable of being seen (as in not in the shadows) Kageraikaku is somewhere along the lines of 10 feet tall, with neon green eyes that are the only things you can see when he is within the shadows, his skin is solid black and usually he has two large horns that start around his forehead and continue another foot upwards, besides those he keeps an average human shape that cant truly be seen well. he keeps the facial expression of Komatsu without changing expression unless something interests him, despite how monstrous he appears he doesnt hesitate to assist Komatsu or provide him with company. Inner World: Komatsus inner world resembles an oriental japanese garden, with many buildings that make up his mind. however this is but a half of it, the other half, split perfectly across a straight line, is home to Kageraikaku where nothing can be seen form the light side. Komatsu has never been far into the dark zone simply because taking a step over the line plunges him into utter darkness, where he can see nothing except the ocassional glow of his zanpaktous eyes. Sealed Form: Komatsu's zanpaktou in its sealed state resembles a black wakizashi (the shorter sword employed by samurai) that he keeps strapped across his back, the end of the handle reaching his left shoulder and the end of the scabbard reaching slightly past his right hip, usually this concealed by his hoody when on earth. the zanpaktou has a black and dark blue pattern across the handle, and the guard is in the shape of a four pointed shuriken, but with the points rounded. Shikai Shikai Release Phrase: Darken, Kageraikaku. Shikai Appearance: http://www.cbswords.com/images/uc1120bba.jpg (just get rid of the little icon on the blade) Shikai Abilities: While his zanpaktou is released Komatsu gains the ability to teleport through shadows, allowing him to flee or fight depending on the situation. while in contact with a shadow (as in, hand in a shadowed area, foot stood on a shadow ect) Komatsu can manipulate it into solid matter capable of taking the forms of tendrils, spikes or something else to meet what the situation demands, if Komatsu becomes seperated from the shadow te ability is negated and the solid shadows dissapear. Bankai -(After a few hundred years of training i think gaining Bankai wouldnt be extremely difficult) Bankai Name: Kuro Nushi, Kageraikaku. Bankai Appearance: Komatsu takes up his zanpaktou in a seppuku style, holding the handle with the blade to his stomach, he will stab himself with his zanpaktou, but on contact with his body the sword will melt into a black liquid that will cover his body, after the liquid has spread it will reshape Komatsu into a smaller version of Kageraikakus spirit. Bankai Abilities: The liquid created is another form of shadow matter and as such komatsu is capable of manipulating it, usually by resizing his hands or forming claws ect, however he is also able to teleport matter that hits him from another part of his body, eg: a simple sword heading for his chest makes contact but is teleported and the blade resurfaces from his arm ect, however Komatsu can only do this to regular weaponry or shikai state zanpaktous, bankai state weapons are to powerful and komatsu is also unable to teleport energy matter such as quincy arrows. Hollow Information Inner Hollow: Komatsus inner hollow resembles a insect in some respects, but human in others, and some parts indescribable. The hollow was created by what is presumed to be a spiritual egg of some sort that kept itself hidden in Komatsus mind until it reached mature enough age, the hollow itself is very powerfull having spent a long time going through Komatsus mind and learning his abilities, strengths and weaknesses and making them his own. soon after i finishe preparing itself it attempted to take over komatsus body, the hollow resembles komatsu himself but his whoel body is as white as a skull and he is covered in tribal tattoo style markings, however on its back is a large carapace like material that covers 4 large insect type wings that can cause a large amount of wind by moving rapidly, in addition it is also capable of transforming its limbs into straneg insect like protrusions, most often seen as changing its hand into large stag beetle jaws or similar, currently the hollow has no contact with Komatsu besides komatsu being able to tap into its power. The hollow is imprisoned within the farthest reaches of Kageraikakus side of his inner world, surrounded constantly by darkness and with no possible way of escape the hollow simply remains dormant. Hollow Mask: The hollow mask Komatsu wears resembles a hercules beetle, featuring a large horn in the centrer forehead that goes straight upwards , the mask has the typical hollow teeth and has the same tribal markings that the hollow has on its skin, besides the horn it is relatively human looking. Hollow Control: With the hollow contained in Kageraikakus domain, Komatsu has full control over it and can use its powers to the fullest. Hollow Powers: Komatsu is well versed in the basic cero technique available to most higher strength hollow and vizard, he also has his own technique created from cero, the kouzuko cero is a cero taht is made from condensed energy and flies with a small trail behind it that starts at Komatsus hand, once fired Komatsu can direct its movements but is unable to make it turn sharply and has to keep it to sweeping moves eg: it cant turn an instant 90 degrees but has to make a less gradiented turn. Due to his wandering nature Komatsu trained himself to use the hollows power Garganta and is capable of opening portals to hueco mundo and soul society (i think that hollow have gotten into soul society like that before, correct me if im wrong) at will, he sees hueco mundo as the ultimate wandering location and soul society as a link to the past which he is interested in the progress of. Learned Kidou: Komatsu is trained in common shunpo as used by most shinigami, but is also versed in two shadow orientated kidou, way of binding 54: Kuracchi yori ato kuro jigen, causes two huge black hands to form out of the floor that will grasp the target firmly preventing them from moving. This is the start for Komatsus destruction kidou, way of destruction 53: kurai kamisori suihou, A large bubble of black energy will surround the target, this process isnt slow but nor is it too quick to avoid with a simple jump so the target is usually restrained first using Komatsus binding technique, once the target is within the bubble four razor sharp blades of energy will appear outside the bubble, in unison they will enter the bubble at great speed and through the other side, cutting the enemy trapped inside to pieces. |

A bit over the top...You're capable with kido, a capable Vizard, AND have shikai and bankai? Nay, just take out his bankai and it's fine. I'm not going to have you be Bankai number 10,000, especially as you're already a Vizard. |

That background justification isn't a reason, you made that up, and just as easily it can be edited out. Just add a note to his bankai saying he hasn't achieved it yet...Background you created isn't a justification for overpoweredness, that can easily be edited.
 This is way over the top, you're skilled in almost every single category.After a few hundred years bankai might not be hard to achieve, but it would be when you've also trained to be a Super Saiyan master in Hollow spells, complete Hollow control, shikai, and kido.  I'm not letting you start off with bankai, let alone some super bankai that allows you to invalidate any damage dealt to you.
Just edit it.You expect me to let your character have: The shikai/bankai of a TOP Shinigami Captain The Hollow control and abilities of a TOP Vizard/Arrancar The kido abilities of a TOP Kido Corps Captain Seriously? C'mon man, I'm tired of people pumping up their characters. Power doesn't necessarily equal an interesting character. |

you have a fair point, but in the end all i did was fill out the criteria. plus im lazy so ill edit it sometime in the next four days maybe. |

Alright, I look forward to your edit, remember an interesting character isn't necessarily an overpowered ones, we need balance, we can't have an RP full of 10,000 god warriors.

A few confusing mistakes in the history First you say he burns his shihakusho (thats the shinigami robe) then u say he puts it back on....that makes no sense. Also
He would need a Gigai to become physical in the human world, not just some random theft of clothes. He needs to get a gigai from somewhere. Now this can work many ways. All Gigai's can be tracked by Soul Society except the ones made my Kisuke Urahara and possibly others. Someone might have created a gigai of there own or something. |
