In other news, the Arabic Empire and Democratic Republic of Islam have given their support to the Horn of Africa invasion, while holy men in the Persian Empire scream for the Muslims of Somalia to resist the invasion. Quote: Grand Ayatollah of Persia Safi Al-Din Khomeini on live TV broadcast by Al Jazeera has issued a fatwa declaring full support of the Islamic struggle in Somalia against any invading forces and that it is a jihad in which military action against kuffar (unbelievers) is fard ayn (a personal obligation) for all Muslims. Although a Shiite, the Grand Ayatollah has stated that no matter what type of Muslim you are, all must unite to repel the imperialist infidels. Mujahideen volunteers and supplies are supposedly flooding into the region. The Persian government has stated categorically that it is not associated with the religious edict as Persia is a secular country that allows freedom of religion as long as it does not interfere with the country's national security and/or wellbeing
