History
n 1911, after over two thousand years of Imperial rule, China overthrew its dynastic system in favor of a republic. The Qing government, having just experienced a century of instability, suffered from both internal rebellion and foreign imperialism. Founded by its first president Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the republic under went a period dominated by regional warlords and heavy foreign imperialism, especially from the Japanese. Soon war broke out with the insurgent Communist Party. During World War II and the previous war of resistance, the two factions declared a truce and fought together to repel the Japanese. When it ended however, the Communists continued their struggle for dominance, eventually dominating Manchuria and the western provinces. Realizing the eminent threat of a full-scale Communist take over of the populated areas of the republic, the warlords soon sided with the Republicans and managed to hold onto

NEWS:

The ROC has begun the construction of 1 aircraft carrier and the training of 500,000 troops and construction of 3,000 artillery, due in four weeks time beginning with the corps.
1,200,000 troops will be trained, due in one week.

Another aircraft carrier will be built due in one week and then 1,000 artillery in another week.
