He tripped and fell flat on his face as Len hauled him in, struggling and yammering incoherently the whole way back. "NO! NO! I WASN'T ONE OF THE TESTERS!! DON'T KILL ME!"

I think to date, he's been shot in the foot about 3 times, stabbed in the back at least ten times, and alerted the guards to his presence more times than I can remember :3:] The man was wearing a hazmat suit, so the hand over the grille only dampened his babbling... if he was planning on sticking him somewhere, there were always various janitorial closets and service rooms...

The large box had been moved to the center of the floor, and a bunch of technicians were slowly unpacking whatever its contents was... The stairs were right next to the elevators.

"Yeah, just don't take too much or they'll detect it on you on the way out." He made a gesture as if thumbing his nose, which he obviously couldn't reach behind the plated glass. "I only got a quarter-pound myself, though we'll pretend this conversation didn't happen. Oh, and get some sun, man... you look bloody awful." He walks off, shuffling through a side-pouch as if he had never spoken to Len.

The men in suits appeared to be hooking it up to a power source in the form of a pair of massive cables bbeing drug in from the outside. The elevator chimed, and the doors slid open.

There were alot of odd noises coming from outside, which made the integrity of the lift seem subject to serious question. However, after a good deal of complaining, the elevator managed to reach the 30th floor, and the door opened. The scene in front of Len was extremely odd; there had apparently, at one time, been a long hallway leading down to a small circular area where the elevators were, but the walls were full of holes, all radiating from the center of the building, as if something had exploded and sent chunks of debris through the ceiling and floors in all directions. Before Len could react, however, he felt a sudden crushing sensation, as in the blink of an eye, a couple dozen translucent, panicked figures appeared, looking like scientists in lab coats. He was thrown against the back of the elevator as they all pushed and shoved, crowding their way inside in desparation as if to get away from something... As suddenly as it had begun, it was over, and Len fell to the floor as a distortion in the air caused the figures-and the feeling of being trampled-to disappear.
