His hair stood on end as he gradually felt his paranormal senses stirring in the back of his mind... though in the past, he had felt the presence of anomalies and of supernatural beings in close proximity to him, this was something... different.... Almost as if he was walking into an area that was somehow... beyond this world in a supernatural way...

Up ahead, he could see that the building was cordoned off by men in white biohazard suits, scanning the area with strange devices, and generally milling about as far away from the building as their job description would let them... Suddenly, there was a flicker in his vision... almost as if he had been watcihng an old film and it skipped a frame, as for a moment, he found himself face-to face with a glowing purple entity made of crystal. The creature peered at him, opened its mouth as if to speak, then disappeared as if it never were.

DESU DESU DESU Posts: 2,557 Group: Gubbah Member #892 Joined: September 26, 2007	He was nearing the building, when he began to notice the fragments... there were just a few and small at first, but as he grew closer to the building, there were more and more to be found, and in larger sizes. They were a deep purple, and glowed faintly. But more interesting was the fact that they were positively radiating paranormal energy... Len couldn't tell what the energy was or why these crystals were emitting it, but they were definitely not your average shiny rock. The building loomed up ahead of him now, surrounded by biohazard crew, who happened to be slowly moving a large, covered box up the front stairs into the lobby.

It could have just been his imaginaiton, but he almost felt as if coming in contant with the stones made him feel... energized. As he drew nearer the team of hazmats, he could see the box more clearly; it was at least eight feet long and half as wide, but what was inside was anyone's guess. They were moving it slowly and deliberately, though, as if the contents were easily damaged. He was within a hundred metres... If he got any coser without using caution, he would be spotted.

In the blink of an eye, though, he saw hundreds of white, luminescent human figures crowding around him, some in business suits, some in lab coats, and all looking as if they had just been caught in an explosion. They extended thaier arms toward him as if pleading for him to help them, and then... They were gone...
