When the Quincy were killed he ran off to the world of the living. He lived in the allies of Karakura town, he hadn't seen his family and didn't know if they survived. He infuriated with Shinigami for allowing the Quincy massacre, but he was a Shinigami himself and couldn't hate his people. When the Arrancar attacked he started to come out of hiding. He found his zanpakto in the side of a mountain he was hiking on. He doesn't know how to interact kindly with people. He only knows basic instincs, he lived on the streets and only knows the tools to survive and fight. Visual Age: 16 Zanpakutou Zanpakutou Name: Shoufuu no Karasu [Crow of Rising Wind] Spirit Appearance: His zanpakto is a giant three legged crow. Inner World: It appears as a lake of black water with a blood red sky Sealed Form: http://www.masterdeleon.com/grafix/weapons/broadsword.jpg Shikai Shikai Release Phrase: Kouro [Run] Shikai Appearance: From the hilt forms a tornado. The tornado can still be used as a sword, even though the appearance changed. Shikai Abilities: Ryu can use the tornado as a whip, the spiral elongates and thins. He can use it like Renji's Zabimaru. One difference is that when Ryu swings his zanpakto around his head three times and slams it into the ground, three blades of wind in the irection of the target. This move is called Fuuga Tatsumaki [Piercing Wind Fang Tornado] Bankai- He can use his bankai for up to two hours Bankai Name: Daikami Yatagarasu [Great God Yatagarasu] Bankai Appearance: His sword becomes a white katana that go down the "back" side or dull side Bankai Abilities: His bankai slightly increases his speed, it's main ability is to create blades of wind from slashing the air. His main attack is Fuuga Tatsumaki, he gathers a ball of wind at the tip of the blade. When the blade is thrown and hits or is stabbed into an enemy it creats a storm of blades. The wind blades erupt and cut up his enemies. Learned Kidou: A list of canon Kidou in Bleach is here: Hadou #2: Kamaitachi (Sickle Weasel) The caster claps theirs hands, then lines up their hands with their palms down. The caster then spreads their hands apart creating a cresent shaped blade of wind; the caster fires the blade by hiting it with a palm thrust in the direction they want it to go. Masters of this technique can direct the blade with their spirit energy

Quincigami Abilities- Name: Spirit Field Function: The user only has to shout "Spirit Field" to open a forcefield of spirit particles. Spirit Field is used to knock objects off the user, it does not protect from incoming or projectile objects. Masters of this technique, which Ryu is, are able to produce a field from any part of the body. The user must also be touching the object that they want to push away, unless Spirit Field is used to slow down or lessen a blast.
