General Information Name: Jushiro Ukitake Alias: Shiro-chan Gender: Male Age: 2,000+ Birthdate: December 21st Birthplace: Japan Current Residence: The Seireitei History: Jushiro was born as the eldest son in the low-class aristocratic Ukitake family. He had five brothers and two sisters and was raised with many virtues. His life was for the most part uneventful until he was diagnosed with tuberculosis at the age of 19, and it was at this time that his black hair was said to have turned white in a matter of three days. He died just a few years afterward. He was lucky and was reborn into the Soul Society in the 3rd district of Rukongai, and soon after he entered Yamamoto's Shinigami Academy, among the very first students admitted. It was there he met his seemingly, life-long friend Shunsui Kyouraku. They two were also, among the first graduates of the academy and the first to rise to the position of Captain. Appearance Visual Appearance:  Physical Appearance: Jushiro is a man of average build and height, but is left a bit frail by his illness. His facial features are sharp and defined, and his hair, originally black, turned white soon after he was diagnosed with Tuberculosis. Clothing and Armor: He wears perhaps the most plain of the uniforms in the Gotei 13, wearing a plain black shihakusho under his long-sleeved Captain's haori. Personality: Jushiro is the naturally nice guy, being on friendly terms with most everyone but not notably close to any of them. He holds his pride and dignity, and that of others in high regard, but can occasionally be quite the goof himself. Visual Age: Late 20's to Early 30's Division: 13th Divisions: - Rank: Captain Zanpakutou Zanpakutou Name: Sôgyo no Kotowari Spirit Appearance:  Inner World:  Sealed Form: It it's sealed form, it is a plain katana with a red hilt. Shikai Shikai Release Phrase: Nami kotogotoku waga tate to nare, ikazuchi kotogotoku waga yaiba to nare. ("Wave, become my shield. Thunder, become my blade.") Shikai Appearance:  Shikai Abilities: Sôgyo no Kotowari has control of electricity and water. By holding both swords together, he can focus his energy into a water ball that will land on the ground and if the enemy steps in it, they will freeze long enough for him to get in an attack. If he stabs both of them into the ground, water shoots out of the ground in 6 lines one after another. If he holds them up into the air, and says Lightning Strike, lightning and thunder will strike down onto the opponent. He also has the ability to surround his opponent in a wall of water that they can not get out of. He can cause this wall of water to heat up with his lightning strike and scold the person if he finds it fit. Bankai Bankai Name: The Divine Rule of Poseidon, Almighty God of the Seas Bankai Appearance:  Bankai Abilities: When first activated, the two forms of his bankai, the twins, materialize and reveal their elements, the male twin lightning and fire, and the female, water; then fuse into the fearsome beast. As defined by Jushiro, the battleground becomes surrounded by tall and, from the outside, impenetrable electrically charged waves, that as the largest and most devastating attack he can perform, the waves collapse inward, swallowing he AND the enemy whole; it is very difficult if at all possible for him to escape his own carnage, brought on by this attack. There is only one way for him to survive, and that is for him to quickly throw up another thing of electrically charged waves around himself, to avoid the devastating blow. Another is the monster has the ability to perform any attack as willed by Ukitake, with devastating result and accuracy. There is no limit on what the monster can do. Ukitake can also take this will and give it to the monster and he can do whatever he wants without being controlled, while Ukitake goes into hand-to-hand combat. Learned Kidou: Kidou 1 Restrain Kidou 77 Heavenly Rickshaws in Silen Air Kidou 63 Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down Kidou 90 Black Coffin Kidou 89 Poseidons Reign of Terror---- when it is used, a big trident comes out of the ground and floods the entire area with water only leaving the user dry. While this is happening, two very large water fish come out of the water and take turns attacking the opponent. One will eventually swallow them, and they will more like drown if not possible to get out. This can only be used by owners of water or ice (since ice is water) zanpakutos and is extremely hard to use. Roleplay Sample: It was a bright morning and after laying in his bed for a few weeks, seeing nothing but the inside of his room was starting to bother Jushiro. He slowly sat up and removed the rag above his eyes to keep him cool and looked towards his window, he gave a sigh and slowly pulled himself up to his feet and stumbled a little over to it, trying to keep what little bit of pain away and his coughing fit away. He leaned himself out and let the suns rays hit him in the face and the smell of the sakura tree outside blow past his nose. How he missed the days where he could always be outside and not have to worry about coughing, but that was extremely long in the past. He closed his eyes to enjoy the silence, but was disturbed by a knock at the door. "Come in," he said softly but loud enough for the person to hear. He heard the door open and close and a few steps taken. He turned around and saw a member of another squad bowing at the door. The member extended his arms out and held a piece of paper rolled up and sealed. He stepped forward, nodded politely, and picked up the paper. He dismissed the member and walked back to the window and looked back out. He started to open it and then looked down, able to notice automaticlly that it was from Shunsui. He could see some sake spilled on it and couldn't help but laugh. He opened it the rest of the way and a smile firmly planted itself on his face. Seemed like Shunsui wanted to have a meeting and he promised to have the favorite kind of candy that he liked. He set the letter down and walked to his door, he was happy that he was finally able to get out and had a place to go. He opened the door and planted his feet, and shunpo'd off to meet his friend. A new Captain, good. As for "will develop bankai in time", I'd like it to be creative and made preferably as soon as you can. Don't want to rush you into a lame bankai, but at the same time don't just leisurely take your time, "unknowns" are usually mandatory. Approved! Keep in mind guys and gals, you may have three characters in total, with a limit of two canon characters out of that. Do check out the Canon List and consider some stuff before the good characters are taken. |
