Seidou Ichimaru had been in a coma over the past couple of weeks or so. Just about when Byakuya was sent to bring Rukia to Soul Society. He stayed by the watchful eyes of the fourth division. Finally, he was starting to show signs of full consciousness. He opened his eyes. Everything looked a little blurry to him and he had to think about where he was. After a few minutes of collecting himself he remembered what happened to him. Seidou was fortunate enough to still have his memory in tact. Or at least as far as he could tell... he tried standing up, but to no avail. His body still simply too weak. Fourth Division members by this point were going crazy. Taking out the IV tubes. asking random questions which really had little to no significance just to see if there had been any sort of mental damage. Seidou was still to weak to speak very well. There were so many questions he wanted to ask, such as what happened while he was out? I guess it has to wait.... he said to himself. |

Kyosuke began to mumble as he slept he was pretty much out of it from the moment he said he would nap. "Stupid hollow," he mumbled "beat his ass, show I'm better" before his head lulled slightly ((Fix me up lol I'm off for a bit ^_^)) |

[OOC: I'm a scientist IRL, but not a medical one...I'm stretching my knowledge here ok?] While Tomoko was slipping the protruding coils of Kyosuke's innards back into Kyosuke, the same medic returned again, throwing open the curtain. She looked up in annoyance, and Hill-Under-Star turned to the new arrival with a questioning look in all eight eyes. "Tomoko, Captain Zaraki Kenpachi and 3rd Seat Ikkaku Madarame have just been brought in. Their condition is..." "...bring them in, as well as any case notes you've got for them." Now Tomoko had to divide the limited power of her shikai between three people. She wouldn't be able to fully heal Kyosuke and save Ikkaku and Zaraki as well. Th unconscious men were wheeled in next to Kyosuke, with Ikkaku in the middle. Quickly, Hill-Under-Star shifted to stand over Ikkaku and Zaraki instead, while Tomoko asked another medic to continue work on Kyosuke. [OOC: The next section details what happens over several hours since the three people concerned are unconscous] Outcomes: After half an hour, Hill-Under-Star disappears, the shikai is exahausted. Before it disappears, Tomoko instructs it to produce its full complement of silk bandages and kept them aside for binding wounds later. Kyosuke: The medic takes longer at the task than Tomoko, but finally stitches the abdominal wound shut. Minor wounds have completely healed over, leaving puckered scars. Major wounds are open but bandanged and partially healed, but all bleeding has stopped. The captain will regain consciousness (and vision) later in a stable condition but very weak from blood loss. The drip has replaced fluids, but not blood cells. When he wakes up, he will be in a clean white bedrobe and will find a thick band of spider silk encircling his chest and binding him to the bed. Its easy enough for him to tear off, but was put there to stop him from trying to get up instinctively on and bursting his stitches. ------------------------- The four left legs of Hill-Under-Star rest on Zaraki, the four right legs on Ikkaku. They are each healing at half the rate that Kyosuke was. ------------------------- Zaraki: Being unconscious, he was unable to resist the effects of the spider bite. Tomoko knew how violent the man was and did not want to risk having him wake and possibly attack someone in delirium. As the minutes ticked by, a whole team of medics worked to stop the blood flow. The largest wound was aggravated by the captain himself when he pulled out Ulquiorra's sword - had it remained where it was the blood loss would have been less severe. Hill-Under-Star halved the number of open wounds on Zaraki, but the real lifesaver came from the fact that in the end, six litres of 4th division donors' blood flowed through Zaraki's veins - never mind that he would kill if he found out. The heavily bandaged captain was stabilised, at death's door and in a coma, and kept under monitoring. (think Momo Hinamori's case...the new player will 'wake up' with him) The captain's vital signs remain very strong, and he would certainly recover - the question was when. Ikkaku: At first, Tomoko doubted they could save him, but made the decision to work on him first. Hill-Under-Star bit Ikkaku as well and healed many of his slash wounds, binding the rest with spider silk. The gaping hole in his chest was even more serious than Kyosuke's abdominal wound however. Tomoko and the medics spent the next hour picking rib and sternum fragments out of his thoracic cavity while actually watching his lungs inflate and deflate. By incredible, unbelievable luck, they had not been punctured, nor had his heart. Like his captain, Ikkaku received blood donations. At this point, eight medics left the treatment center to recover at home from their contributions. While unconscious, Ikkaku went into cardiac arrest due to shock. The probability of restarting the heart of a person in such a state was depressingly small, yet somehow Ikkaku was resurrected. Tomoko scratched her brow, hardly able to believe the man's incredible toughness or fortune. Ikkaku was finally left wearing bandages and a chest harness (to support his battered ribcage) in the same room as Kyosuke. Bone regeneration would take weeks to heal (less with kidou intervention), and Ikkaku would have to be heavily medicated until then. ------------------ That evening, when the sun dipped below the horizon, Tomoko herself collapsed in an exahusted faint. Zaraki, Ikkaku and Kyosuke have been moved to the wards of the 4th Division. |

((so is that make a new post or just continue here >_< i'll move this post if need be)) Kyosuke's eyes flickered as he began to open his eyes, he could see again, he tried to move his hands to hug himself only to find he was stuck to the bed, he looked to see he'd had his clothes changed and that what was left of his normal ones had been left nearby, His body however wasn't moving because of a rather large spiders web that covered his body. "Am I really that bad at sleep walking," he chuckled as he slowly forced it off himself, as he got up he noticed why his wounds where still tender and may have ripped open had he flew out of bed as he had intended to. He then looked around the recovery room to see two other individuals, One being Kenpachi and the other his 3rd seat Madarame. Normally he'd put this off to bad training had it not been for Kenpachi being here, the guy was near impossible to injure. 'Arrancar' he thought to himself as he eased to his feet "Well best get my pants on can't be a bum for the whole day," he spoke alouded as he began to dawn what was left of his clothes. 'I'd best get back to HQ to see if anything happened' he thought as he wandered out of the door, walking slowly so as to not rip his wound open. "A little time with Destorian should help," he muttered as he began to stroll towards his HQ. |

In a few moments, Hajime landed in the front foyer of the treatment center, the area where him and Kasumi reunited, as well as meeting his other friends. But this was a thought for another day. Carrying Ukitake and Kasumi, holding on to his arm, he had to be strong and push himself to the room. "Somebody! Ukitake-taichou is sick!! Someone!!!" Hajime called out as he saw two 4th division members in the hall. They came over and took Ukitake-taichou from Hajime's grasp. They put him on a medical bed and rushed him to a surgery room down the hall they were once in. Hajime was panting as he watched them take him away, a splosh of blood on his hakama. "Kasumi-chan . . . w-what happened to Ukitake-taichou?" He asked her, trying to figure out what exactly happened but he know that will be hard considering she seemed frantic. |

Kotetsu arrived there and watched as her Captain was taken away, she wanted to go with him yet at the same time didnt want to be in the way of him getting better so she left one of the 4th shinigami with. "Tell me if his condition changes." before looking to the others who were with her. |

The strain of the shunpo mingled with the panic, and not to mention pain in her heart and though she opened her mouth she could manage no words. She broke out into a cold sweat, her pale face flushed even paler, and her breath remained shallow and hurried. Too much had happened at once and she was having a hard time coping with it all. She stumbled a bit as her legs were weak, and she grabbed onto Hajime for dear life. Throwing her arms around his neck, she held on as tightly as her weak and trembling body would allow, and broke down into insatiable sobs. |

Hajime felt her body trembling and heard her sobs. Kasumi was a frantic mess but it was to be expected. Her taichou was ill and from looks of things she did not know until he had fallen onto her, drenching her in his blood. All he could do now, is comfort her but he sensed something else was plaguing her hurt, something very painful. Hajime held her and tried to comfort her the best he could but he would not know if his words would fall deaf ears or not. "He'll be fine, Ukitake-taichou is strong, he won't die. He'll come back to you, I just know it." |

Kasumi heard him, but didn't really let him know. She knew Jushiro would be alright, he was too strong...he'd been in dire situations before...she was still in shock of witnessing his temporary downfall, but it was moreso what he said to her, just before his collapse. She lifted her head weakly and looked up at Hajime. Her eyes were full of despair, as she touched her neck again. She'd tried so long and so hard to forget, and it was all thrown away in an instant. "I know..." She said softly. "...it's...something..." Her voice trailed off. |

Hajime saw the despair in her eyes. 'This isn't merely because of Ukitake-taichou falling before her . . . those eyes . . . they show signs of old pain.' Hajime was now worried, what happened before he came? What was said and why was she touching the scar on her neck? So many questions and no answers. "W-what happened . . . Kasumi-chan? Your eyes show a pain that has never left, a wound never healed . . . what occured between you and Ukitake-taichou?" Hajime said, sincerely. |

Kasumi turned her attention back to Hajime. His voice was soft and comforting, and she knew he sincerely wanted to help her. Though, she knew there was nothing he could do, it didn't stop her from wishing he really could. "It's...it's just something...something he told me...I..." Her voice faltered again. "...nothing happened...I-I...mean...it happened a long time ago...it's nothing, it doesn't matter now..." She said weakly, burying her face in Hajime's shoulder again, her tears still flowing, but her screams and sobs subsiding slowly. |

Listening to Kasumi speak, he still looked concern. "I see . . . " Hajime said, solemnly. He looked at Kasumi as she talked to him and basically covered her face into his shoulder. Hajime knew something was bothering her, something about her past. He just didn't know what. Nonetheless, he held her and comforted her. 'Something is wrong but I won't push it. I don't want to pry into her business. Right now, all I can do is hold her.' |

As Kotetsu watched the two she felt even worse, she longed for the warm sweet embrace of her Captain. Did he think she didnt care about him? Did he care more about this girl? Kotetsu stood there even though there were others she felt compleatly alone, it was a cold feeling that chilled her very soul into anguish. The cold pain of feeling like no one in the world cares about you, a pain she hadnt felt in a long time. |

"N-nothing happened between he and I..." Kasumi mumbled into Hajime's shoulder, muffling it abit. "Nothing...nothing..." She said, trying more to convince herself more than anyone else. She had no idea what would have posessed her dear Taichou to reveal such information to her, and at exceptionally inconvenient time. If he'd known this all along, why hadn't he told her earlier...or preferably not at all? |
