Seidou Ichimaru had been in a coma over the past couple of weeks or so. Just about when Byakuya was sent to bring Rukia to Soul Society. He stayed by the watchful eyes of the fourth division. Finally, he was starting to show signs of full consciousness. He opened his eyes. Everything looked a little blurry to him and he had to think about where he was. After a few minutes of collecting himself he remembered what happened to him. Seidou was fortunate enough to still have his memory in tact. Or at least as far as he could tell... he tried standing up, but to no avail. His body still simply too weak. Fourth Division members by this point were going crazy. Taking out the IV tubes. asking random questions which really had little to no significance just to see if there had been any sort of mental damage. Seidou was still to weak to speak very well. There were so many questions he wanted to ask, such as what happened while he was out? I guess it has to wait.... he said to himself. |

Kasumi furrowed her brows. "...Well, do forgive me..." She said sarcastically. "...you know my entire reiatsu wasn't depleated...I had nothing but time to worry about your problems!" She snapped, knowing Hisagi was probably implying she was distracted by something else. 'Narcissist...' She thought to herself. Uncrossing her arms she looked down at the letter in her hands, and it was almost like seeing a ghost. It was unfathomable to her that this letter could be from Tousen, it was like communication from beyond the grave...his hands had held, and written on the very same piece of paper. "Hisagi-kun..." She began softly. "...tell me...tell me what Tousen-taichou said..." |

Crossing her arms, the letter was out of sight and mind again. Her expression had softened, as she listened to Hisagi talk. The letter, if it were truly from her former Taichou, would probably hold more truth and answers than he. "...is...is that all he said?" She asked skeptically. "...that...you should protect me?" She wondered if Hisagi's blade was included in his promise, but taking yesterday into account, she guessed no. |

Jushiro laughed at what Kyosuke said, "There are times where I don't like doing this stuff, but when I know that it is for a good reason, I will do it. Everyone thinks I'm like that but they really don't know me then. Plus, this is one of the only things I can do while I'm in here," he laughed again as he remember the younger days when he spyed on people with Shunsui. |

The hope drained from her, and she scoffed. "Puh, yeah..." She said sarcastically. "Well, A plus job thus far...really..." She stood up and gave a fake thumbs up and sarcastic smile to accent her comments. She should have known Hisagi wouldn't know anything...and if he did he obviously wasn't going to tell her. Walking over to him, she tried her best to look intimidating, but only reaching his mid-torso in height, she was at a disadvantage. Nonetheless she locked gazes with him and, seizing a fistful of his kimono, pulled him down to her, face to face. "You shouldn't have let him leave..." She said roughly. "...then he could have protected me himself..." She paused for a moment, and let go of Hisagi. "Wait...protect me from what!?" |

Jushiro sighed, "I have tuberculosis. But I have learned to live with it. I have fits every now and then like I did earlier. They leave me weak and not able to do a lot, but I manage what I can," He looked up and put on a smile to show that he was doing ok with everything. |

Kasumi's eyes were wide in surprise, and in a second she pushed Shuhei away and staggered a few steps back. "Stop it Hisagi!" She pointed at him accusingly. "Just stop it!!" She'd heard more than she wanted to in one day. The letter was gripped tightly in her hands and had began to wrinkle in her closed fist. She held it out in front of her, the little orange ribbon it was tied with had began to fall loose. "Get out of my sight, Hisagi!" She ordered him, pointing down the hall and away from the room Ukitake and the others were in. "I can't bear to look at you right now, so just go!! LEAVE!!" She turned from him and stormed back into Ukitake's room, standing there silent for a moment. |

Jushiro shot his head back to the door as soon as Kasumi bust in, then followed by the hell butterfly he sent out to see what was going on. "What's wrong?" he worked his way up into a standing position ingnoring the pain that shot through his body. |

Kasumi looked up, she was bothered deeply but didn't want her Taichou, especially in his condition involved. She quickly tucked the letter away in the pocket of the haori and rushed to his side. "'Shiro-san...be careful..." She grabbed onto his shoulders, showing great concern for his condition. "You shouldn't be up, don't worry about me...it's...nothing." |
