Seidou Ichimaru had been in a coma over the past couple of weeks or so. Just about when Byakuya was sent to bring Rukia to Soul Society. He stayed by the watchful eyes of the fourth division. Finally, he was starting to show signs of full consciousness. He opened his eyes. Everything looked a little blurry to him and he had to think about where he was. After a few minutes of collecting himself he remembered what happened to him. Seidou was fortunate enough to still have his memory in tact. Or at least as far as he could tell... he tried standing up, but to no avail. His body still simply too weak. Fourth Division members by this point were going crazy. Taking out the IV tubes. asking random questions which really had little to no significance just to see if there had been any sort of mental damage. Seidou was still to weak to speak very well. There were so many questions he wanted to ask, such as what happened while he was out? I guess it has to wait.... he said to himself. |

Kasumi turned her attention to the door, that had been closed to maintain their privacy, as it creaked open slightly and a voice called inside. It was a bit of relief, she decided, but it got in the way of the answers she so desired. Ukitake looked pained, so she simply smiled and brushed a few strands of his hair away from his face with a sigh. "I'll be right back...'Shiro-san..." She said, letting go of his hand and standing up to walk over to the door. She was more than likely a sight, still wearing her Taichou's haori, and covered in his blood. Probably looking more like his assailant than his saviour. "...can I help you...?" She said, opening the door only a slight bit more, to see it was Kyosuke-taichou and Shuhei. She should have been more angry to see the two of them, but she just couldn't find her anger at the moment. "...this better be important..." She said roughly. "...or someone better be dying..." |

Jushiro could hear voices. He wasn't exactly sure who they were. "Kasumi, whoever is at the door, I guess you can let them in. I have nothing to be ashamed of," he said pushing himself up but ignoring the pain just so he could look at the door. |

Kasumi gave Hisagi a sharp glance. She was ready to forgive him, and perhaps stop being angry with him altogether, but apparently he wasn't returning the favour. Still, she knew she needed to speak with him later, concerning what he'd told her yesterday afternoon. "I see..." She said curtly, not taking her eyes off of Hisagi, and snatching the letter from Kyosuke-taichou, who she, moments later, turned her attention to. "...from Tousen...taichou...you say? For me?" She said, lowering her voice, half in disbelief, half so as Ukitake might not hear her. "I...I'm not sure..." She bagan, "...'Shiro-san is quite ill at the moment...he...", but Ukitake's voice assured her it was alright, so she hesistantly stepped aside for them to pass. |
