Seidou Ichimaru had been in a coma over the past couple of weeks or so. Just about when Byakuya was sent to bring Rukia to Soul Society. He stayed by the watchful eyes of the fourth division. Finally, he was starting to show signs of full consciousness. He opened his eyes. Everything looked a little blurry to him and he had to think about where he was. After a few minutes of collecting himself he remembered what happened to him. Seidou was fortunate enough to still have his memory in tact. Or at least as far as he could tell... he tried standing up, but to no avail. His body still simply too weak. Fourth Division members by this point were going crazy. Taking out the IV tubes. asking random questions which really had little to no significance just to see if there had been any sort of mental damage. Seidou was still to weak to speak very well. There were so many questions he wanted to ask, such as what happened while he was out? I guess it has to wait.... he said to himself. |

He had his head turned, looking down the hall but looked back to the room to see Kasumi motioning him to come back in. He blinks a few times before smiling and going inside the room again. 'I guess I have no choice, if Kasumi-chan wants me to come back.' With that, he sat down in one of the chairs that was placed near the door, not too far from Ukitake and Kasumi, Kiyone on his left side. |

Jushiro smiled at her when he heard her say she didn't want to lose him. It made him feel happier then usual. He wan't sure why, but he just was. He could tell that she wanted to know what he was holding back, but he decided she would know when the time was right to ask him. He noticed that when she looked away, she smiled and motioned for Hajime. He knew he tried to get out of the room. His guess was that he thought they needed to be alone together. He heard him come in and sit in the chair that was in the room. He looked over to him and smiled. "You know, Hajime, you don't have to leave the room." He smiled. |

Kasumi shook her head. "No, please stay..." She told him, with a smile. She truly did want Hajime to stay, she couldn't believe all the help he'd given her the past few days, and the last thing she wanted was to make him feel excluded. ...and she also knew, the longer she and Ukitake weren't alone together, the longer it would be before she had to talk about her past, again. "'Shiro-san...are...you sure you're okay, now? Nothing hurts you?" She asked out of the blue, to keep conversation from running dry. |

"Ah . . . um . . . thank you Ukitake-taichou and you too, Kasumi-chan." He fumbled his words a bit but smiled bashfully. It seems neither of them wanted him to leave quite yet. Just as well, it was a very welcome aura he received. He had some thoughts on Ukitake and Shunsui. Two of the strongest taichous he knew. 'I want to be strong like them one day . . . strong enough to lead, to protect, to love those around me . . . one day . . . it will happen . . . but for now, I'll remain on 4th seat and follow Shunsui-taichou's lead.' He thought before Kasumi asked her question to Ukitake. |

He turned to look at Hajime, "There is nothing to thank me for. All I did was say you didn't have to leave." He looked at him. 'Sometimes I wonder about him. He seems to nice to be in Shunsui's division, but yet, he seems just perfect for it. And I have a feeling he like my little Kasumi.' He smiled at this thought before he turned back to Kasumi. "Honestly, I'm pretty sure I am ok. I guess I can say I'm as sure as Shunsui is on how much sake he says he drinks a day." He couldn't help but chuckle. Thinking about his old friend and how much sake he drinks a day always brought a chuckle out of him, no matter the mood. "And to answer your question about if anything is hurting, I don't really feel much pain. Just some pressure here and there. Nothing really to worry about." He smiled at her and tried to sit up because he was getting tired of laying down. |

In a little momentary shock, Kasumi leaned forward on her knees and using a hand to brace Ukitake's shoulders as she noticed him straining to sit up. "Careful, 'Shiro-san..." She said gently, helping him up. She could tell he was in a little more pain than he was willing to admit; she gave him a sympathetic smile. |

Hajime just rubbed the back of his head at his comment, a little unsure of what to say now. He folded his arms a bit and watched as Ukitake tried to sit up with Kasumi's assistance. 'Masamichi' Okami called out to him. 'What is it?' He responded a bit harshly. 'Not to interrupt but I do believe you should rest soon. In my opinion, if you were still thinking of training with Kasumi, forget. You used Shunpo too much and your reiatsu is almost depleted.' Hajime closed his eyes for a moment. 'Do not worry, i can still fight, I just won't use any high power moves.' Okami went silent after that. She acted more like his sister then a spirit but Hajime thought of her as a sister in the first place. |

Jushiro accepted the help up from Kasumi because he knew he just didn't have the ability to do it himself. He hated feeling week since he was a captain and all, but he didn't have a choice. Everyone needed help sometime. "Thank you Kasumi. You are most to kind," he said after he was sitting up completely. He looked over and saw Hajime and could tell for a moment that he was tired. "You know Hajime," he said as he made eye contact with him. "You can go to sleep in the next room if you want, or I can have another 4th squad member bring in something for you to lay on. I don't think they would have a proble doing that." He had a smile on his face, even though sitting up was hurting him. |

Hajime jumped a bit. "Ah, no, no. I'm fine, really." He said, bringing his reiatsu up to his normal level. "I was just talking to Okami for a moment." He smiled, hiding his fatigue. 'Slipping, don't let him find out . . . all i have is about a hour left, afterward I will have to rest.' |

Returning her hand to Ukitake's slight grip, she turned to look at Hajime, who was indeed looking rather tired. "I'm fairly certain he was up all night..." She blushed and looked away. "...looking after me I think..." |

Jushiro tightened his grip on Kasumi and looked at Hajime, "I wouldn't doubt it. Not only can I feel it in his reiatsu and see it, I can actually sense that you have what, about 30 minutes before you probally passout? We don't need someone else on the ground out cold," he chuckled. He slight sent out his reiatsu and a 4th squad member came in. "Can you bring in two more beds for them to sleep on?" he asked with a smile. The 4th squad member ran out and brought back two beds. "Not only is he the tired one. I can tell that you are to Kasumi. Why don't you all get some sleep. It will do no good to train now. And yes, I knew you all had a date." He started to lay back down smiling having a feeling that one of them had to be blushing. |

Hajime was startled on how he sensed so much but then again he was a Captain, he knew what was what. The beds came in and he was instantly on the defensive but before he could even speak, Ukitake basically shot down each possible response. His face already red from his exposed plan. 'Dammit, dammit, dammit, I knew i should have left.' He sighed and gave up trying to fight it. "I've been found out." He said with his hand in the air, his head looking down and small grin on his face. |

Kasumi laughed as the scene unfolded, but inside she panicked a little. She'd nearly forgotten, amidst the chaos that ensued shortly thereafter, about the promise she'd made to Hajime just earlier that morning and she felt just terrible about it. Though, with him about to lie down for a nap, and she having aquired a full night's rest, surely they could train together later on that evening. "I'm fine, 'Shiro-san...I slept well last night..." She protested, attempting to assure him. "It's Hajime-kun that needs rest...I imposed terribly last night..." She paused to laugh. "I'm a burdensome drunk, I must admit..." |

Hajime shook his head. "No, you were fine. That was my decision. Don't worry." He said as he laid on the bed. In his mind he sighed. 'It feels like i am being babied here.' Hajime thought as he looked around and almost instantly fell asleep. That is how tired he was, though he looked peaceful and calm enough as he slept. |

Jushiro watched as Hajime laid down on the bed and fell asleep. He was happy that he was able to get one of them to sleep, but he knew the other would be stubborn and would take awhile. So he decided to talk to her about what he told her earlier. "I know that you have been wondering why I told you about your husband earlier at the time I did. I'll tell you the truth." His tone dropped and he lost the smile on his face. "I actually thought I was going to die this time. I was planning on telling you soon anyways. I just thought it would be a good time before anything happened. But like I said before, I know where he is, and the reason he killed you." |
