well with golfy nearing retirement i finally picked up the new daily hack. belong to my mate for past 2 years in which he only done 7k in it (82k on it now)

far from mint, andits never gonna be the best scoob out there but just a little TLC to be handed to it to get it sitting & looking right. wheels first off i think!!

totally standard UK car with just an exhaust of some sort - yet to work out! and a dump valve which will be removed asap!!

Cool, nice choice as a daily. Was thinking of one of the estate ones (the ugly one) for myself as a Q car but the petrol thing worried me. Might still get one tho as an occasional user.
Health to enjoy, especially that lovely flat four thrum! :)

the last time i had a loan of it for a week i found it wasnt really any harder on petrol than the 16v :'(

we have the £15 tester in at the mo, that would get me usually 90 miles n the golf!

16v will be put in the garage and then treated to its 2.0 lump once i get arse into gear! and then its just a summer/weekend/emergency car!

scoob will just be kept standard, freshen up a few bits, nice set of genuine mud flaps and probably lower it a hair. im not going for big daft engine mod's cause it a daily driver. plus its fast enough for a daily hack . The colour & the wheels are the only reason i bought it - its the perfect combo for a classic impreza i think

I have one of these myself.

It's a 99 classic turbo2000 in Champayne silver with 17" Gold wheels. They sure do sound sweet even on tickover.

Health to drive! :)
