I am still looking for material on the post Vat II period but it is not easy to find. I shall be in London in a couple of weeks and I will have a chat with a Jesuit I know, he works in a refugee centre, he may not consider himself a worker priest but he may know more about it than I do. I will get back to you in the mean time I have left you, and others, some reading on the wider topic of the priests of the future. |

Penfold if this subject had been active 4 months ago I had a biography of a worker Preist. He was a jesuit in Belgium. He worked and died in the steel mills. ( probably Walloon -Hainuat where my family comes from). I have since given it to the Diaconate library in my Diocese. You might ask your friend if there is a copy of "Friend to all men" available. |

Here we are a mixed bunch of laity, men and women, married and single, youngish and older, with a variety of opinions and aspirations. Some remember the pre-Vatican 2 days. We are discussing this with each other and with a priest and a deacon. Laity and clergy learn of each others' thoughts about priesthood of the future. We could do with bishops getting feedback from similar discussions in parishes. |

Thanks OSB, adding in the shipping cost there is not a lot in it but there is certainly a good supply. |
