If this means that scientific and philosophical reason unaided by faith and revelation cannot lead us to the truths of religion, then I doubt that it was ever the subject of much dissent, though I have a feeling that an ardent Thomist, and perhaps the Angelic Doctor himself, might say "Yes,but..." If it means somehting else, I'll pass on this one until enlightened. |
