I always wear a Crucifix and a Miraculous Medal round my neck, but by far the best witness to my faith has been the wearing of a cheap elasticated bracelet with pictures of saints and Our Lady on it. so many people have asked me what it is and that has opened up conversation about being a Catholic - people seem to be at ease discussing their faith (or lack of it) and I have very positive conversations with them. If it looks like they're interested in taking it further, I usually give them a prayer card or details about where to find a Catholic church. Never had any negative stuff said! |
