Friends daughter with Aplastic Anaemia; Bone Marrow Transplant

My friend was telling me last night that her daughter MM is back in hospital. The transplant has been delayed due to MM counts being too low. My friend's husband is a builder and of course with the recession he has had little work. Money is tight. We are having a fund raising dance on the 4th December to help them. The Consultant has told my friend the prognosis of this terrible disease and as you can imagine she is so stressed, scared and confused. She told me all she now has is her faith. Although in a mixed marriage her husband has been overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness from the parish. MM turned 7 a few weeks ago and is a wee tiny girl. A wee cutie she is beautiful.
Please remember them in your prayers and may God help them through this trying and difficult time. Their older daughter is fine and of course unaware of the seriousness of her wee sister's condition. Sadly she was not a match for MM. I forgot to mention the donor is a 25 year old male from Europe, He is in Scotland awaiting the go ahead to go to surgery with MM. Isn't it wonderful that an individual is prepared to do that to save someone's life. Leaving his own country etc to do this. Please remember him in your prayers also.

Thanks

Karenjane
