My nephew, who was born with spina biifida, was admitted to hospital at 7.30 last night, His (left foot) toes were blue and his foot icy cold. , he's in Chirugie Vasculaire so it's likely circulation, although they're doing all sorts of tests and he's on a drip. He's OK at the moment and just phoned my sister to say his foot is almost back to normal. Please keep him in your prayers

I received an update from my sister
He's had an ecography today on his arteries and they didn't find a thrombosis like they suspected but a 'space' in the vein which has the same effect. They've got him on heparin and saline and after a 24 hour ECG might let him home on Friday with some new medication. Hope so. He's been remarkably calm which is a good job 'cos it kept me calm as well, outwardly!
Since then we have spoken again and it seems that he has now had an injection (in his stomach -ugh) for his blood and pending the ECG results may well be allowed home by Friday. He seems to be handling the situation very well, saying "what will be will be" but his parents are understandably very worried.
Thank you for your prayers. My sister is praying to St.Joe, so if anyone would like to do likewise...

We were beginning to think all was well, but it may not be so. He will need to have a 24hr ECG as he has "plaque" on his Aorta and it must have been a bit that broke off and blocked the artery. He also has to have a angiogram.
Please continue prayers
