My friend Kathryn is worried. She is normally in good health. This morning she awoke in such severe pain in excruciating pain from her shoulder down to her wristshe went to A % E, is now having an alternative treatment and her GP is diagnosing stronger painkillers and anti inflammatories, the cause has not yet been established for certain. Kathryn has quite a lot of responsibilities, so please say a prayer for her.

Kathryn is in sheer agony, in bed, virtually unable to do a thing due to very serious pain indeed. Please, please, pray that the doctors will soon carry out appropriate tests and get to the root cause of this. Kathryn is no fool, she is hoping to be insistent, it has reached that stage, but severe pain and strong painkillers can dull the willpower and knock the spirit out of a person.

So, please pray, first that Kathryn will get some sleep tonight (she has not slept since Thursday) and that she will get the treatment she needs..

As the feast day of St Cosmas and Damian draws to a close I pray that these patrons of healing will bring Kathryn relief by the loving power of Our Lord and Saviour.

Praying for Kathryn too.

Shoulder and arm problems can be excrutiatingly painful. Having had some experience of problems in this area I know her pain is not to be under-estimated.

"Kathryn" is not the real name of the person for whom we are praying. I started this thread before I knew whether she wished to be named. I have spoken to her, personally, and now have permission. The lady is KatyA of this forum, she is suffering considerably.

Please, please will you all pray for Katy?
