Renowned author and journalist Christopher Hitchens and former British prime minister Tony Blair will share a stage for the sixth semi-annual Munk Debates this November.

Globe & Mail
Why choose Tony Blair? He is one of the people known as a "prominent figure", but that is not due to his Catholicism.

I always think that the media refer to someone well known and Catholic as devout............ just prior to them slagging them off for doing something they perceive to be at odds with catholicism. It then makes excellent copy for their newspaper or television programme.

All Catholics referred to in the media are always described as 'devout'.

And people never promise or simply say, they always 'vow'.

It gets on my pip !
