Something Nice Happened To Me Today

I have been playing around with various software applications that will allow me to add some new facilities to my Room To Pray website. Today, I found what seems to be ideal software in the which is rather expensive to buy but they do offer a free "Community Edition". I emailed them about this free version and a lady emailed me back asking for a lot of details about my company, the type of work we do and so on - I got the feeling that it is really a "taster" targeted at companies who might move on to the commercial edition - quite a lot of software is promoted like that nowadays.

Anyway, I decided nothing lost, nothing gained so I emailed her back explaining about the Room To Pray, that it is strictly not-for-profit and little chance of it ever growing into needing the commercial version but would they maybe consider letting me have it anyway. I reckoned that in todays environment, my request would simply be tossed aside. Instead of that, I got this reply from her:

Quote:

Yes, if it supports His Kingdom, all the better ... I wish you the best of success with your projects and look forward to hearing back about them in the future.

Grace and Peace ...

What particularly pleased me was that I had specifically mentioned that the site is Catholic orientated and the "His Kingdom" terminology suggest Protestant Evangelism which I always thought was inclined to be anti-Catholic, yet it made no difference.

I just thought it rather nice and worth sharing, mods feel free to move it to another thread.

That's beautiful Mairtin.

Not everybody thinks people who pray are nutty do they?

It must have given you a boost in your efforts regarding Room to Pray.

Thirty pounds! That would have been three months wages for a woman in 1940.
