We have never had so many new members in such a short space of time.

One new member had a struggle posting images. Some of those who have been here for ages struggle with the Quote system.

It will take a while to complete the thread. We propose showing how things are done. Only moderators can post in here, to prevent it being cluttered with chatter.

If you cannot grasp the instructions, post something in the Miscellaneous chatter thread. Somebody will advise you.

I am bringing this topic to the fore, because a couple of members have requested instructions about quoting.

Today two fairly new members have asked questions about the forum software. Somewhere on the forum some postings giving instructions. Later this evening I will search for them, and bring them to the fore.

If any of you have specific problems with the software, please tell us on here, and I will explain how to do things.

Sorry, Pete, we do not have one.

You may find there is one built into your windows programme. If you see a word underlined in red, that means it is not spelt properly. Run your cursor over it, right click, tick Spelling.

I believe Firefox has an inbuilt spellchecker that can be used.

That's the one, I use Firefox. I thought my spellchecker, the one I use with my mouse, came with windows, must be from Firefox.
