A friend has asked me to put out a request to my internet Catholic friends, for prayers for his wife G.

G is going into hospital for surgery, prayers for her, her husband and their family would be much appreciated.

G is now making a good recovery from surgery.

Her husband has asked for prayers. Four days ago both were in contact with a woman who has been diagnosed with Swine flu. they have not felt seriously ill but are "a bit snuffly" and under the weather. They have young children to care for and live a long way from the grandparents, so there is no local family support.

Please keep P and G in your prayers.
