I got an email last night from somebody near and dear to me to let me know that his wife has gone into a clinic to deal with her alcohol dependency problems.

I'm glad that she has at last faced up to her problems but I know that she and her family will need a lot of help over the next 6 weeks in particular but also beyond that so please include them all in your prayers.

Will do Mairtin.

As someone who has a recovering alcoholic in her extended family I would say, recognising she has a problem and accepting the need for treatment really IS half the battle.

I have every faith prayers will support her and the family.

God Bless
