A friend asked me to put this request on our forum.

My friend Janet has been caring, for a few years, for her beloved Mum-in-law, Mary, who has had a bad time healthwise recently (to put it mildly). Mary was rushed into hospital on Friday and was anointed. Now Janet and the family have been summoned by the doctors regarding Mother-in-Law's condition. Janet suspects cancer, and has been praying that the good Lord will take Mary before she can suffer. Mary, dementia is so advanced she might not understand what is happening. Even if she were to understand, she would not remember five minutes later.

Add to that, Janet's cousin was recently widowed unexpectedly, the cousin's mother who is very distressed because her daughter has had a stroke as well as being widowed).

Please pray for this family at this very difficult time.

It makes me thankful that we are Christians, with a belief in eternal life.

“It is most laudable in a married woman to be devout,
but she must never forget that she is a housewife.
And sometimes she must leave God at the altar
to find Him in her housekeeping.”

Mary died peacefully Tuesday morning. Please pray for the repose of her soul, and for her family who are taking it very hard. She was and still is much loved.
