Please may I ask you all to pray for "Anita", a young teenager who has lung cancer and is suffering a great deal. She has had a very troubled life, but in spite of this is a bright, clever, caring young girl.

we are hoping for a miracle.

Thanks to all. I am daring to hope a miracle may be in the offing. Anita had a brand new procedure in which the surgeon was being instructed via live video link up from Japan, and the tumours have started to shrink. If all goes well she may survive long enough to have a heart/lung transplant(she has had 30% of her lung tissue removed in previous surgeries).

Your prayers are much appreciated. God bless you all.

I pray to Anita's Guardian angel, to intercede that the treatment will be a success.

Anita is so grateful for the prayers, and the tumours are shrinking so she is in good spirits at the moment. Thank you all for your continued prayers.

Praying for a miracle that will mean a transplant won't be necessary.

I'll probably be shouted down for saying this here, but I can't in conscience not say something on the subject.

Vital organ transplantation (heart, lungs, and the like) is an ethical minefield. Braindeath is not death.

LifeSiteNews has a lot of stories on the matter.

Anita is now undergoing radiotherapy in a clinic closer to her home. We haven't heard anything for a few days, but she was in very good spirits, and buoyed up by the prayers of so many of you on here. Thank you all for your continuing prayers.
