Prayer sites, many and varied - links wanted

I would like to compile a directory of Catholic Prayer websites in addition to our list of internet transmitted Masses. I was thinking, there is such a variety of choice.

There are websites that have hymns, with sound, one can hear them at any time of day, just by clicking the name of the hymn. One can select Black Gospel choirs Gregorian Chant, organ accomanied traditional hymns, or hymn singing led by guitarists. We need to list those sites.

A convent in Ireland transmits Divine Office, live, with sound. Mairtin of this forum has his Room to Pray, with rosary, Office, Lection Divina. Penfold leads Lectio Divina on this site.

Please if anybody can give us any links to any sites that are useful to people who cannot physically join with others in prayer, will you post the links on this thread? You never know who will be helped. There are a lot of people out there who are stuck at home, with memories of the days they used to pray with fellow parishioners. There are others who work unsocial hours or have to stay home due to family commitments. We all have times when we want to pray alone, so on this Catholic Cyberforum we list Universalis, very useful for solitary prayer.

Lets pull out all the stops to help those people. There must be a lot of sites out there, its a matter of finding them.

Those two look really good, Poesy.

http://www.prayingeachday.org/prayersites.html belongs to the De La Salle Brothers.

Online Rosary,

If you look at the parent site of that one you will see much, much more. It appears to be privately owned, and quite reliable. It has doctrine, music, chant, prayer, and that is what I saw at first glance.

I have commenced compiling a list of websites, for online prayer, scripture study, reflections, rosary, Divine Office. It will take a while because I want it to be well organised and presentable. Once ready it will be posted in Prayer Group and Forum Reference Library. So far we have a few dozen links.

Keep them coming, please.
