Keep up the prayers for Jude, please. He now has to have an angigram on Thursday the 11th June. Apparently the problem is slow heart rate.

Update re Jude:

The bad news is Jude had to have more heart surgery. The good news is that it will not be as invasive as the bypass surgery which he had nine years ago.

This time surgeons are going to use Angioplasty.

The surgeon has told Jude that the by-pass graphs fitted last time are in very good condition. The problem is still with Jude's "birth" arteries. He hopes to undertake the procedure within the next month.

Everything went well on Tuesday. The surgeon inserted some things called stents in two arteries instead of the one that Jude was expecting. He stayed in hospital overnight, is now recovering well and already feeling very much better. He must be, he has been joking with his family that at last, he has proof that Dad has a heart.

Jude and the family ask me to thank Cyberforum members for their prayers.

Please continue praying for Jude and his family.

Jude had a couple of setbacks since he received the stents. He is having having difficulty coming to terms with his situation.

He is now waiting to hear from yet another consultant because a change in medication did not give the desired relief from pain. He is now at hospital 2/3 days a week at present and this is likely to continue for some time.
