Happy Couple!
Thank you!
I live too far away from Walsingham to visit, but I have a friend, my "Walsingham Angel", who regularly lights a candle for me there.
God bless you for thinking of us!

:thanks:
It's a few years since I visited Walsingham, but I remember walking the "mile" barefoot (Mainly because my shoes were killing me)

For the past four years I have spent 6 weeks (sept/Oct time) driving around the major shrines of Europe going as far as Sicily to visit the Black Madonna of Tindaris. I am ashamed to say that in all this travelling there are two shrines that I have not yet prayed at, they are the National Marian Shrine of Wales at Cardigan and the shrine of Walsingham. This year, God Willing, I plan to correct that. I look forward to both of them.
As an aside......the Bishop, in whose Diocese is the Welsh National Shrine is, is a Belfast man like myself. I have a feeling that Penfold might know him, Bishop Tom Burns who was Bishop to the Armed Forces.

Thank you Penfold, and while we are on the subject, we have long wanted to have a priest on this forum. It is good to have you here. We are no longer a priestless Cyberparish.

Thank you Penfold. May the sun shine upon you and may the Walsingham mile seem like a garden path.
