A funny thought struck me. Why do we all use Catholic forums? A few years ago they did not exist. What would we do without them?

I come on here mainly because due to a combination of factors it is my best opportunity of relating to other Catholics.

I just had to post this, quoted from a post in another thread.

just join hands and dance in a circle

Let's do it in the Westminster Cathedral piazza to celebrate 60,000 postings.

We'll do that, when we have 60,000 members.

In that case, we'd better transfer it to St Peter's piazza.

Χρονια πολλα = Lang may your lum reek

That Scots expression was Greek to me.

I had to look it up in my Greek-Scottish missal.

The traditional saying lang may your lum reek (literally, long may your chimney smoke) is a way of wishing someone long life and prosperity.

I ain't got no smoking chimney, will these do?
