I heard about Catholic Cyberforum at the end of June. I had gone to a talk about St Paul and various websites came up. I've only had broadband since May. On the Sunday I signed up. I'm not very computer savvy and for some reason it wouldn't let me post anything so I gave up.
a couple of days ago i had an e mail from the Forum saying that it would br off air because Of Clare's Father's funeral. I clicked on the linkmand so here I am.
I don't know anything about anyone here. I'm in my early 50's, a divorcee and an altar server.I haven't got any children. I like Football.
I'm away for a couple of days and I'm back Tuesday.

“It is most laudable in a married woman to be devout,
but she must never forget that she is a housewife.
And sometimes she must leave God at the altar
to find Him in her housekeeping.”

My figures are precise, taken every evening at 11 pm, totalled daily, weekly and monthly. I even take note of seasonal trends.

My figures indicate that Catholics do most of their thinking in winter.

When I started this topic on the 1st January 2007 I never believed it would still be a "live" topic 20 months later.

Although I am not a frequent poster these days I still visit 3 or 4 times weekly.

For me today it is a case of not neglecting dear friends because to me this is an essential component of this forum. The support offered to each other in prayer, the lively discussions and the ability to be able to ask for prayers.

Yes, these are the reasons why I thank you. In particular I thank the Moderators because it is their dillegence that keeps this a very happy and lively forum.Yet as Moderators they make no demands on the members.

I would like to invite all members to say a prayer for the intentions of our Moderators and their families on Saturday the 5th of September at 12 Noon (BST).

God Bless all who visit this forum,

Alan.

An excellent idea, Alan, I will set the alarm on my phone as I will be travelling to a meeting in North London at that time and I try to pray on long bus journeys.

October was our busiest month ever, with a grand total of 3.340 posts!

This may be a good time to review "What this Forum means to me"

It's good to see this forum gaining new members and such a wide variety of posts. The forum is really friendly, and even when we inevitably disagree, and sometimes have quite heated arguments, there is still an underlying respect and I feel that members genuinely care for each other. I certainly feel as if you are friends, and enjoy hearing from you all.
