This must have been quite a shock for the priest involved, and the mother would seem to be in need of prayer.

"I was in the church shortly after midday to pray and I heard the baby crying," said Father Thomas Rein, the parish priest of Peter and Paul Church in the village of Poettmes.

Has anyone noticed that in many cribs the child Jesus is about three or four YEARS not hours old?

I am so glad that the child was found alive, that they know who the mother is and that the Church has offered to help her.

I am hopeful in this situation. I must remember to pray for the mother and child.
